What is the world coming to? If you can't trust professional poker players who make their living separating folks from their money, who can you trust?

A lot of "people" on those sites aren't even really human.

You can buy software for your computer that will automatically play up to a dozen hands for you at one time.

... untill recently I used to receive quite some spam like "Online Casino" etc.

If a Ponzi scheme wants to work, then it needs new users all the time and suddenly it made sense why some of those websites added "spam" to their "marketing mix". Maybe a week or two ago the "Online Casino" spam suddenly stopped. It makes me wonder if this has to do with the recent allegations. Anyway, whether or not that's the case, I'm happy that the "Online Casino" spam has stopped for now.

It stopped because the FTC froze the assets of a lot of the online casinos making it impossible for them to afford email marketing campaigns.
