March 14, 201214 yr I think you are right. If he made decisions and gave out punishments purely on facts then we should not have existed. I find it ironical.. Being forgiving and generous can be perceived that way... Whoever we believe our creator to be... the way to reconciliation with him is to trust in him... Just my humble opinion... March 14, 201214 yr It's not that God hates Facts. . .it's the men who do "work in his name" that hates facts or even the truth for that matter. It's all mans' interpretation of God which is the problem.
March 15, 201214 yr Active Members It seems inherent to the system. Religion has always been the explanation for things we don't yet or can't understand. From lightning / thunder to how we are here and what happens after death. Christendom especially claims to be the one and only answer, despite ever-expanding mountains of evidence explicitly contrary. I don't see how it can be said to be only a specific couple bad apples in Christian leadership...
