May 7, 201214 yr Active Members For Democrats it's more a perpetual state of disappointment, of being let down. The truly reprehensible stuff comes out of GOP leadership's mouths (then Dems acquiesce... after a brief protest).
May 7, 201214 yr I liked what Jimmy Kimmel said at the White House Correspondents Dinner which was held at the Washington DC Hilton. Jimmy said, "Obama wanted to have this event at the Kennedy Center, but the Republicans wanted to have it at the DC Hilton, so the Democrats compromised and they ended back at the DC Hilton." I think that joke pretty much sums up what JKane mentioned above. . .
