May 6, 201214 yr This is probably one of the biggest human rights issues globally now not just in Iraq. Very sad. I love what Hillary is trying to do for this issue but she faces deaf ears in most countries because she hears, "we don't have people like that in our country. . ." HA HA HA
May 7, 201214 yr Author Active Members Agreed, but I think Iraq is especially our responsibility as we took one of the only secular (and fairly tolerant of a lot of things, though I don't know their history on LGBT) governments in the middle east and turned it into as clusterfuck religious civil war followed by whatever the fuck this is...
May 7, 201214 yr I think it is the same in almost every Middle Eastern country. But you are right we do have a special duty in Iraq since we over turned the country. I traveled throughout the Middle East a lot for work (where I could travel legally) and there is complete denial that there are any gay people in any of those countries. But I have to say they are all full of very hot men that's for sure. Just go into a Prada store in Dubai. . .
