I made a mistake earlier in the day and gave it to a lady and a baby. About 20 others swarmed our car. So, I am just saying no from now on.

I also saw this house while it was under construction. There was a cloud of mystery at the time on what it was because they feared people might damage it if they knew it was for a single family. I traveled to Mumbai frequently for my job since we had a manufacturing plant in Mumbai. Yes, and from what the locals tell me, it is bullet proof and the most secure building in Mumbai. That says a lot! I checked into my hotel and went through a car scan, all the luggage was scanned, I was scanned and I was thinking next would be a body search.

The dichotomy of the classes is amazing. It is abundantly clear to anyone when they walk out their door. I'd love to say, "why do the Indians put up with it." But, then I'd have to ask how are the Americans putting up with it happening in the USA.

Cool looking design, but building that in one of the more impoverished cities in the world seems pretty crass.

Apparently it is actually closer in height to a forty story building as many of its floors are double height. Feels so much more spacious that way, you know.

With only 400,000 square feet and three kids, double height ceilings are practically a necessity if one doesn't want to get to feeling claustrophobic.

Don't laugh. After one subtracts for enclosed garage space for 168 cars and a 3 chopper helipad, it ain't as much as one would think.

If I'm going to build a one billion dollar home in India then it is going to be upwind of the Taj Mahal. Of course I could name a hundred countries more to my taste so do not expect me to cause the Taj's property value to decline any time soon..

I find the architecture U G LY and the whole thing quite baffling in terms of cost and number of employees/workers who are probably being paid a small, barely existable wage.
