September 21, 201312 yr Well in the past most women had to work hard even though they were pregnant and some worked until the very day they gave birth. In Asia, some women worked in the field and gave birth right there in the field, worked some more and then carried the new born baby home. I think she would be fine as long as she is careful after giving birth. I heard that too much physical activities like lifting heavy things are not good after giving birth.
