I'm headed to Budapest for a week in early May with a 3-day stop-over in Berlin. I'm wondering if a 2-day sidetrip to Bratislava, Slovakia is worth it. Although it's the home of Bel Ami and many of the models live there, it seems to have less action than Budapest.

You'll find Slovak boys have more Nordic features than Magyars, if that's of interest to you. I like Bratislava. My next journeys will be through the Baltic States. I was briefly in Tallinn in 2002, and if you like gorgeous blonds, that's the place.

That's what I'm afraid of....that the Slovak guys will all be as good-looking as BelAmi but there will be no way to hook up easily. While in Budapest I know it's easy.

Why do you say it is easy to hook up in Budapest ? Any place recommended ? Thanks

Just a few observations based on my own experience.

Slovak guys aged 21+ with defined, muscled bodies often have a good attitude and are eager to suck cock and happy to bottom. They are open and happy to earn some extra cash WHEN LIVING IN LONDON. Over the years, I've met 5 such guys and had very pleasant times with them. Slovakia is a small country and they are much more reticent there because they do not wish their family or friends to know what they do.

Some of the Bel Ami do seek extra work, but they do so when travelling or discreetly in Prague. I've known several to advertise on Gay Romeo, and I played with 3 such guys in Cape Town when they were there to learn English and do some filming. That's the thing-- they may be great but where do you hook up IN Bratislava? I read there was a m/m sauna-boy type place on the outskirts. It would be hit-or-miss. Hotels there are cheap downtown but I don't know if there's a cruise area. Romanians seem to be the common commodity everywhere in Europe now, not just Budapest.
