Am slightly interested in how they found the info based on just my number (caller ID just returns the number), simple google search doesn't seem to turn me up.

April 16, 20179 yr I think they can get it by paying for a reverse lookup service. It can get as far as your municipality, without any additional data provided, at no cost. My name and address can be obtained online up here in Canada for free, for a listed residential number. For example, it took a few seconds to locate you in a small community (2 words; 5 letters, 4 letters) in a southern state less than an hour from Gulf of Mexico ... I will not name it specifically, privacy, etc. Maybe I am incorrect.
