December 7, 20178 yr Active Members Many years ago I had business in northern CA. When I was descending into what looked like smog I could not only smell the smoke but taste it. I was several miles from the actual fire but I did my business and got out of there ASAP. Nasty business, wildfires. Best regards, RA1
