I have not picked up individual hustlers since my days at the old Malaysia Hotel.  Are the boys still available and where?  I have availed myself of Romeo to accomplish this.

I like Romeo but find more luck with Hornet and Jackd.  I have not been for years, but I did find guys galore at the park across from the palace but not sure if that is a thing still or not.

Thais drive to the park outside the palace to pick up rentboys, sometimes drive slowly in circle around the park, negotiating from one boy to the next. That is how they do it.  Did you drive a car in bkk? Or did you hire a taxi and ask the driver to drive slowly so you can check out the boys and stop at the boys of your liking?  Or did you just walk?

I had no idea this was a thing despite having been to Bangkok many times. How big is the park? 

Boys are always available. I ways recommend making eye contact and subtly showing that you want that person. They will get the picture. 

How do you subtly show interest? Will they know what it is you want or after for?

Well, this event did not happen at the park, but subtlety was most keen. I had turned the corner one night from Rama IV Road onto Silom, by the Robinson's. Night sellers had set up stands and the area was busy. As I turned, I noticed a cute guy working one of the stands. My eye lingered ever so briefly, a millisecond, yet he picked up on it and was instantly walking next to me. We exchanged basic greetings in basic English. As he kept walking with me, I asked him "Where you go?"

His reply: "I go where you go."

And he did. The Suriwong Hotel came in handy and he didn't seem a stranger to the place. The sex was great. I learned that he worked the stand with his family. I walked him back there and the family didn't seem to notice me.

I guess it's safe to say most of us miss Bangkok. No place else like it.
