For prices, I advise you to check the gossip at escortsxp. It seems like a premium escort like Carlos Aleman is charging $AR 3,000 (at current currency U$S 67) to local clients, I am sure they will charge higher if they know you are a visitor. Local clients are complaining a lot saying that 3000 is abusive. Just do your research, the boys must be desperate with the local crisis. I read that Douglas is still charging AR$ 1500. June 21, 20197 yr Active Members I’ve spent a lot of time (in all, more than a year) visiting Argentina but I’ve not been recently. So it will be very helpful @geodesic if you will report back fully on your experiences in Buenos Aires. I’d especially like to hear about the levels of crime (or “insecurity” as locals term it). It’s very difficult to learn about the dangers except from locals, and such crimes don’t warrant Press reports. IMO caution is very advisable. I never had anything happen to me during my extensive visits, but I was aware of robberies at knifepoint in the daytime even in the very best areas of the city. Women were more often targets for bag and phone snatching. If you do have good Spanish, the locals on the local escort forum can be very helpful. The drawbacks to that forum are that quite a lot of slang is used in the reports. Also, peculiar to Argentina, is the fact that many escorts change their working name (I have never understood why): there is for instance one muscleguy who is notorious for robbing clients once alone in a ‘telo’ or hotel-by-the-hour.
July 6, 20197 yr Author Active Members msclelovr ... so I finally made it here. First impressions: BA is a great city: it has been so fascinating learning about the history and culture. In terms of crime, I really don't think BA is any different to any other major world city - I asked my airbnb host about the prevalence of serious crime (eg. robberies at knifepoint) - he feels this is much less of a concern in BA compared to Rio. Low level crimes are more common (Eg phone snatching, etc.). Obviously, this does depend on the area - I'm staying in an affluent neighbourhood which feels safe. In terms of escorts - good but quite simply not comparable to Rio in terms of quality. Costs are surprisingly low though (on the whole, lower than Rio ranging from $1200-$2000ARS). I had a session with this guy today. He was very good - enjoyed a proper "boyfriend" experience (he was very attentive and generous with kissing, cuddling, etc). I'm sticking to one escort per day in BA as my focus in on tourism - Rio on the other hand......
