June 24, 20197 yr Active Members So says the food columnist for the Washington Post. I liked her article because I drink a lot of Coke Zero. But, I concede that water is best. https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/food/the-case-for-diet-soda-it-gets-a-bad-rap-but-the-research-tells-a-different-story/2019/06/21/70ad3f54-92da-11e9-b570-6416efdc0803_story.html?utm_term=.bfb7281d1ae0
June 26, 20197 yr Active Members A friend of mine has horrible migraine headaches. After many years of trying he finally found a doc who prescribed something that helped. One of the caveats about this Rx was the patient had to go off it for a month every year. My friend said after all those years of terrible headaches he would rather die younger than go off the Rx. He is now in his 80's and still mostly headache free. I feel much the same way about sugar free beverages. I also like Zero Coke. Best regards, RA1
October 6, 20196 yr Active Members I'm a caffeine free diet Pepsi addict. Glad to hear it's not as bad as everyone says
October 6, 20196 yr Active Members I’be been trying to quit drinking sodas since yesterday and I was sad but your post brought me back to life
October 25, 20196 yr Active Members I tried to give up on soda but I couldn't bring myself to ditch it. Water is better though.
January 17, 20206 yr Active Members Started drinking diet soda because I thought it was healthier than regular soda, but now I can't quit.
January 18, 20206 yr I drink close to a gallon of flat water & seltzer a day, adulterating each glass with an ounce of vinegar tonic: http://www.eatingwell.com/recipe/261767/apple-cider-vinegar-tonic/ Works all kind of wonders.
February 27, 20206 yr Author Active Members The news today reports that the diet sodas receive their sugar substitutes from China. Coca-Cola announced an expected reduction in those supplies. So, maybe I can quit Coke Zero too! https://finance.yahoo.com/news/diet-coke-coke-zero-shortage-163742056.html Edited February 27, 20206 yr by Lucky add link

Coke (Zero) is everything!
April 5, 20206 yr Author Active Members Coke Zero is quite popular. Locally I have noticed that stores run out of it faster than other kinds. Recently a sale on Coke excluded Coke Zero. It remained full price!
November 2, 20205 yr My preference is Coke Zero. Used to be regular Coke but Coke Zero is really close in taste with out the sugar.
December 11, 20205 yr Active Members Coca-Cola Zero Sugar looks and tastes more like regular Coca-Cola. The diet version has never been my favorite. Either way the less sugar the better.
December 21, 20205 yr Active Members Coke Zero screws with my mood. I have a crazy reaction to it, so I avoid soda all together.
January 10, 20215 yr Active Members Thanks for posting this article -- I didn't see it. A lot of pre-made protein drinks seem to be (more or less) diet soda with whey protein added.
