Well given that we are in a pandemic and every meet up is a risk for Covid I'd just be happy they are there at all.

100%!!!  This is why I never pay up front.

I paid in advance once, he didnt show up due to private reasons. But luckily he paid the money back.

Offer to send them an Uber rather than pay in advance. Shows you are genuine and not going to be wasting their time.

I would never pay in advance.  

Minimum seems to be $300. or $350. now -- one guy said $600. and one guy said he wanted me to sign up for his (paid) OnlyFans first and then wanted $1,000. It was around $200. two years ago. Something must have happened. Inflation has only been around 3% for that period, so it must have to do with supply and demand (I'm guessing less supply). I know that Rent.men is expensive -- around $95. per month for premium advertisers -- but still.

It's February 8, 2021.  I decided to come to this site to see what's new in the various forums.  Apparently I misread this thread when I responded last December, for  I have never advanced an escort his fee prior to our meeting.  On several occasions,   I have given him his requested fee before our play session, something that I have not liked doing, for as I wrote in the quoted aforementioned "the sex has been so, so to nil."

When I do resume seeing escorts, I might NOT, for the fees as cited by some of the previous writers are outlandish to say the least.  Three hundred dollars per hour is exorbitant to me unless the man is known for providing exquisite services.

[My former go-to-man in San Francisco requested a fee of $250 per hour.  When I'd wanted to spend more time with him, I chose 1.5 hours which amounted to $375.  One time we were together for two sizzling hours: I did not mind the fee, for the time and pleasure given were supreme.  Both of us enjoyed our time together.

I prefer a seasoned pro, even if just a little seasoning.  Newbies were never big bangs for me.  I've never had to prepay, doubt I would unless arranging for travel.
