April 7, 20215 yr I recently started watching The Thaiger on YT. It's English language news and info about Thailand. They do a daily newscast that is 10-15 minutes. It's run by an Australian guy and the other main reporter is a young guy who appears to be part Thai/part farang. It's fun to see news from over there on a regular basis. April 8, 20215 yr Active Members I watch the Thaiger's daily video on Youtube too. Definitely an interesting way to keep in touch with what's going on in Thailand on a daily basis.
April 8, 20215 yr Yes, I recommend it. I think it preferable to the Pattaya FM one on Youtube , though that too is useful for those of us missing Thailand. The young Thai (Jet) is part American. It's reassuring to hear the correct pronunciation of Patta-YA, too. I always find the falang "Pa-TTA-ya" irritating. Silly of me, I suppose. Age!
April 11, 20215 yr Jett Gunther has his own YT channel where he evaluates apartments, condos, etc. The Thaiger on YT is part of my morning ritual rarely takes more than 6 monutes.
