4 a.m.

If I remember correctly, the first several times I came to Bangkok, the closing time along Silom Soi 4 and Soi 2 was 4 a.m. It used to feel so wonderful moving from a dark nightclub somewhere in the vicinity to an outside table next to a still-open bar on Soi 4, and let the rays of a warm morning sun penetrate and punctuate an intoxicating night out on the town.

Those kinds of experiences might be in the cards again.

That is one of the advantages of Thailand and any other country in the vicinity. It is always 5 to 6 hours earlier back home. Even when I go out till 5 am, it would still be around midnight back home. Never a jet lag.

Traveling to South America is a different story. 😴
