August 8, 200917 yr Author Dear Pattayamale, I am still reeling from first hearing of the unspeakably sad prognosis for my dear dear friend Allen. He and i have travel so many paths and shared so many hreart rendering experiences. If opportunity presents itself, would you please tell him (and Ken) that they are in my thoughts constantly. I love them both so much and feel so totally helpless here in Madison, WI. My most sincere appreciation to all there who are helping to make Allen's time as positive and humanly caring as possible. Allen, defying the odds, has gained enough strength to be moved from the hospital in a condo in Jomtien Complex. This should make it easier for those that visit the beach, to visit Allen also. When we moved him into the unit, he was so happy. He told us he always wanted to live by the beach. Anyone that wants the address please PM me or Traveler Jim. He has a 2 bedroom unit so there is a lot of space. One of the bedrooms is for a good friend from the US. He is flying in Monday to spend time with Allen.His friend is well known to some of the Board members. It will be great to have another friend join the team of caregivers. There is a party being planned for Allen at the unit in the very near future. It will be held early in the evening, probably at a time when many people usually leave the beach. Oh course there will be providing free food and drinks. It is a party to help us continue celebrating Allen's life of service to the gay community here in Pattaya. If you want to attend just PM Traveler Jim or me so we can let you know the date and time. It should be a good time with old friends and a few surprises.
