September 7, 201016 yr Cruising around Sunee Plaza during the warm afternoon, to get some pics for you fellas... Here is the Entry stairs to the Marina Inn - Don Plaza Swimming Pool and Bar... Really clean looking and inviting for a swim or just a lazy day lying around the pool reading a good book, using your Kindle, or an MP3. The pool deck is clean and deck chairs/lounges are in sun or shade... up to you..as they say in Thailand... Open late morning to late night... 10:30am - 10:30pm Enjoy! tj

September 7, 201016 yr The place has come a long way since Monty ran the business. Probably does not have the same ambience, either. I like a pool for a change from the beach everyonce in a while.

September 7, 201016 yr The facility looks really nice...It has really been cleaned up! Does anyone know if there have been many customers?? What about eyecandy. The pool at Yensabai was nice when I lived there, but mostly just us old retired guys...once in a while a little eyecandy for the soul!

September 7, 201016 yr Great pictures TJ. Does anyone remember the contest that was run several months asking people to submit new names for Marine Plaza? I never heard the results or what happened. I see the name was never changed. Can anyone add to this?

To which I took a degree of umbrage, considering my profile to be much more Gregory Peck in To Kill a Mocking Bird (vanity - get thee behind me!). WOW! What fine legal Eagles both of you are... with such good legal analysis...arguments and researched supportive documentation...pro and con. Fountainhall as "Matlock" the Defense Attorney... Bob as "Perry Mason" the Prosecuting Attorney. And we have them both here on GT

I was simply standing on the corner peeling an orange when this guy, all of a sudden, backed around the corner six times into my knife! Honest! Like Jimmy Carter, I suspect there was a little of that "lust in my heart" going around a bit, TJ. Or at least I hope so!
