I heard a rumor that the very beautiful blonde male dancer in the Cabaret show at My Way in Phuket died recently. I think his name was Khaeng. Can anyone confirm this or have any information about his death? He was so young.

That is the one. Very sad. He was a sweet guy and very popular. Sadly, Yaba is still a nasty habit for a number of the bar guys.

Very sad in deed especially when another popular young man died also recently. Nu, the friend of zzz's, passed away . Nu's ad in gaydar remains and is a reminder of his great smile and personality.

I remember reading of Nu in Sawatdee not too long ago, following zzz's death, and of how, in addition to his compassion for others and his great personality, he was intelligent, self-educated and highly articulate; at the time he was apparently depressed by zzz's death, but in good health. Sad indeed - any idea how he died so suddenly?

It seems that Nu died from meningitis. There is a thread on sawatee if you want to follow up.

 

The life after death thread bumped this thread up under 'similar topics' and of course, I couldn't help but notice the name of the thread starter. If it's true as suggested on various fora that pete1969 was the owner of the Lavender Lanna Hotel in Chiang Mai who passed away recently, then I would just like to say RIP, Peter.
