I'm 100% in favor of Governor Newsom's tactic to counter MAGA gerrymandering in Texas by drawing new California districts for the 2026 midterms.

We're fighting against the MAGA war on Democracy.  We need to fight hard but also be smart.

Yet some very learned pundits, the League of Women Voters and various libtard friends of mine have all spoken against the Mid-cycle Redistricting initiative.  "We should demonstrate integrity."

Is it the same old problem with the Dems?

Not willing to cede any of their sacred ground, even if it means losing to Trump?

Are these just a bunch of rich fuckers that are immune to any of the fallout under fascist rule, not wanting any mud splashing up onto their fancy Italian trousers?

Fuck this bullshit.  If Newsome's initiative fails, I am putting the Dems on SPAM/BLOCK.  Every man for himself.

I'm glad that they're going to include a question about a national independent commission to set up congressional boundaries as well - like almost every other major nation has.
