First time to Bali - Advice, Updated Info

I'm planning my first trip to Bali and I have a few questions that I'm hoping some people here can help me with:

I'm going to be staying in Seminyak, Ubud and Uluwatu, any updated info on the gay spots around Seminyak? Potential options for athletic/twunk builds?

I saw a couple of posts recommending Dani as a guide, are there any other recommendations? Dani doesnt appear to be available anymore.

What rates and tips is recommended? I'm not looking forward to dealing with all those numbers in the IDR, or holding onto millions in cash.

Any beaches or spots to avoid? I saw Bingin Beach is more demolition waste site than beach

I enjoyed Travellingguy's recent post and took some info from there.
