Hey Guys,

I read all the posts about Egypt and wondering if you can give me some advice (even PM) where to stay safe and clean without dormen, that i can hook up with guys. I was in Hurgarda before but in Hotel, and even hotel stuff was afraid to do anything.. Pls some advice, thx a lot

I think you need to contribute more before asking for a favor. Most guys don't feel comfortable with sending such info to new members without many posts

Is this really true? On the thai/southeast asian section, everyone's so nice, including with newbies. There's this one thread of a newbie traveling to thailand for the first time asking for guidance, and all the senior members were so positive and supportive, not once being negative at all. They shared all kind of info and even went to meet and guide the newbie! Kinda shocking to see your response, and hope that it's not true.

I think without realising it you are comparing chickens and eggs. 

 Thailand especially is very easy going regarding both homosexuality and the adult sex trade. Hotels and airbnbs etc are open to local sex partners visiting their guests. They have nothing to hide.

 On the other hand in most of the North African countries discussed in this forum, homosexuality is illegal, sex tourists are unwelcome, and it is illegal to entertain a local in a tourists’ hotel room. 

 By necessity contributors here will be more cautious than they would be in the thai forums in order to protect the underground nature of contacts in these countries.
