The Donald Now Has Infantino By The Balls

Featured Replies

Despite all the furore of the recent World Cup with interference by Trump, corrupt referees, banning of an official from the USA, extremely questionable decisions by VAR operators and massive price gounging, the World Cup prior to this year had always been for the fans and the countries who make it to the finals. Now the corrupt President Infantino who is beginning to seem worse than his corrupt (as proven in the Swiss courts) predecessor, the former women's underwear salesman cum FIFA President Sepp Blatter, wants to privatise soccer's gold mine.

Fifa has announced plans to sell the commercial rights to its tournaments, including the World Cup, to private investors in a controversial move that triggered an immediate backlash from Uefa, leading European clubs and politicians . . . Fifa has confirmed it is working with the US bank JP Morgan on setting up a new entity – to be called Fifa Forward Enterprise (FFE) – that would raise hundreds of millions of dollars by selling a significant stake in the commercial rights of the men’s and women’s World Cups, and the Club World Cup to investors . . . Thrive Capital, an investment company founded by Joshua Kushner – the brother of Donald Trump’s son‑in-law Jared Kushner – is leading the search for investors.

UEFA, the sport's European governing body, has tried unsuccessfully several times to get FIFA to reform its corrupt business practices. It is totally against this new Proposal of Infantino. And now we can see - perhaps, just perhaps - that Infantino's cosying up to Donald Trump over several years resulting in a useless FIFA Peace Prize being awarded the Donald when he did not get a Nobel is starting to pay off in a much bigger way than anyone expected. Infantino is clearly in Trump's pocket and if this mad plan goes ahead no doubt Trump and Kushner will gain yet more unearned riches. A plague on both their houses!

Another totally against Infantino's get-me-rich-quick plan is Britain's new Prime Minister and himself  soccer fan.

“Football does not belong to investors. It belongs to the people who fill the stands and who stand on the touchline week in, week out, rain or shine. The World Cup is not a product. It is the greatest competition in world sport, and it was never anyone’s to sell. Dress the deal up however you like. Once you have sold a piece of it, you have sold out.”

Thanks you for posting that.

Boy is this a sign of the times.

A great unifying sport is degraded, so that Donald Trump and the Kushners can get rich.

Meanwhile, kudos to Mexico and Canada.  Sheinbaum and Carney both outclassed Trump.

Sheibaum gave her tickets away and made it about young Mexican women soccer players getting a chance.

And Carney simply evoked what was said above.  It's a great world sport.

No wonder they are loved and admired in a way the greedy narcissistic piece of shit Trump never will be.

Trump probably thinks the clever grifting compensates for that.  But of course it doesn't.

FIFA is going into business with a Kushner. Democrats smell blood.

FIFA is likely to be just one of many such [grifting] targets for Democrats probing Trump allies who built up their political careers and business fortunes during his terms in office.

I give the Kushners credit for this.  They make the Bidens - especially Hunter - look like small ball amateurs.

Finally some sense! The European Football Associations have had an emergency meeting and said if the Infantino/Trump money raising madness goes aheaed, UEFA will withdraw from all future FIFA events, including future World Cups. With The American CONCACAF and the Asian group of nations having now stated Infantino's madness is precisely that and are totally against it, there are enough votes to kill Infantino's scheme. UEFA only has 55 Associations but a World Cup without Spain, France, The Netherlands, England, Portugal, Germany and the other Associations is unthinkable. Now Infantino's right hand man and a former banker Carlos Cordeiro has resigned stating it is a bad deal for FIFA and a bad deal for the future of the game.

The  Associations now have enough members to vote Infantino out of his job in November. It seems there may be five possible candidates who could take over from him. One is Arsene Wenger who led Arsenal to its greatest sustained period from the end of the 1990s and is widely regarded as totally incorruptible.

Good to know.

But couldn't he run for President of the United States instead?

At least this commercial venture with Trump is now dead. What's the betting that another will soon appear until Infantino is kicked out of FIFA

Grifters will continue to GRIFT until someone STOPS them.....   Infantino hooked his lips to Trumps shitty butthole and will ride the wave as long as Trump allows him to latch on,  that is until Trump doesnt find anything more FOR HIMSELF in the relationship.....

Trump is making money and getting trophies, so he puts up with Infantinos shameless and pathetic "fan boying and groveling"......    That will continue until "the well runs dry"....

Was the sheer blatant corruption of it - with the involvement of a Kushner who once again had no experience with the subject of the grift - the bridge to far?

Unfortunately, currently in the USA, that wave is a wave of explosive diarrhea.  Fitting for The Great Incompetent's "golden (shower) age" pissing on the American people.
