January 11, 201511 yr I scrolled back to the aforesaid article by Firecat and even I, as the Asian, cannot tell whether he is of legal age or not from those pictures. So the onus is yours to check for ID...be SAFE (more than 1 sense)...

No. Any fake IDs from gogo bars would be just so the bar and the bar worker can earn an income like the rest of the staff. If bars were engaging in blackmail, word would get around very quickly. Always check IDs & not just in Sunnee -it's necessary in other Pattaya bars and Bangkok, including Soi Duangthawee. This is easier said than done, considering the pictures are often small, old and the bars can be dark. Last year I acquired an illuminated magnifier which fits nicely in my back pocket & it's very helpful. To some extent, it's nice to meet boys from Laos, Cambodia etc, as their passport at least comes with a large clear picture.
