Tonight the Empire State Building will show the electoral results for today's presidential election. In this picture it shows a tie.

I don't know maybe because he was at sea level and was taking in too much oxygen ... but I could not believe how loopy and giggly the governor of Colorado was during an interview I watched tonight. And when asked about the just passed legalization of pot in his state, tough against it, listening to his answer made me wonder if he was smoking it

isn't the Presidential vote, although I can't wait to hang my chad on that one. But even more important for me is California Proposition 34, which does away with the death penalty. For the first time, it's started leading in the polls. Some of the recent support comes from folks who have concluded that it's just too expensive to kill other folks. Fine by me if that's what brings them into the tent. I'm just hoping California can join the seventeen other states, and the District of Columbia, who don't have it. Not to mention all the other countries who manage to get along without it.

Very well said actually. Last week, comedy producer Chuck Lorre released a vanity card supporting President Obama that he decided not to put on the air. The message also expressed support for marriage equality, saying "What does it say about us when we think the institution of marriage is threatened by gay people who love each other, but not by idiotic game shows like The Bachelor?" Bachelor host Chris Harrison and producer Elan Gale reacted like a Big Brother competitor worried about their screen time and took umbrage on Twitter with Gale saying that Lorre had "Zero salient points". Once again, I find myself on the side of the guy behind Two and a Half Men.

I always love the New Left Media videos taken with supporters at a Romney rally in Ohio. While I recognize that you can find ignorant people at a rally for either side, there always seems to be a venom to the ones on the right that I find disconcerting. These people will absolutely be voting on Tuesday, and we have to counter every single one of them. I may also have a minor crush on Chase Whiteside.

This is the final NBC / Wall Street Journal poll before the election. . .

Number 2 makes my blood boil. Amounts to nothing less than an attempt by the Republican Secretary of State to steal the Ohio election if the vote is close there. Pay particular attention to Sec. Husted's latest instructions to the election judges.

"Let’s set the record straight: Jeep has no intention of shifting production of its Jeep models out of North America to China. It’s simply reviewing the opportunities to return Jeep output to China for the world’s largest auto market. U.S. Jeep assembly lines will continue to stay in operation. A careful and unbiased reading of the Bloomberg take would have saved unnecessary fantasies and extravagant comments."
