Mostly jibes with my observations when traveling. They didn't address what I think is one of the biggest drivers of mobile usage, though(particularly in under-developed nations): terrible service from monopoly land-line providers.

I'm with the Belgians: I think the that cell service provider's should be banned from subsidizing handsets. Then the prices of handsets could find their own natural level on the open market without being tied to long-term service contracts.
