Impossibly hip, Spot is the place to see and be seen among the hoi polloi and pick at delectable treats from a light, almost California-inspired menu. If you miss the New York Chelsea scene, this is the place for you. It’s a rare thing to find a super-trendy place with a friendly staff and great food, but Spot seems to have hit the trifecta in this regard.

Since 1994, Spot has presented delights of contemporary cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere, less than a block from Avenida Paulista. With an all-glass facade, it is installed in the middle of a large square with an illuminated fountain and has its architectural project signed by André Vainer.

Frequented by a modern and varied audience, Spot reflects the cultural and fashion bustle of the city. At lunchtime, executives and businessmen from the region take care of his salon. On their lively nights, artists, actors and journalists enjoy drinks, starters, and chat outside while waiting for their tables.

Light and creative, the menu brings influences ranging from childhood memories, to experiences of countless trips by its partners around the world. Some of its dishes have been successful since the inauguration, with emphasis on the Penne with melon and raw ham, the Terrine of goat cheese with vegetables and the Salad Spot.
