Not sure about that hotel.... never stayed there. Rates, as I posted recently seem to be running 1200 MXN to 2500 MXN on mileroticos. Grinder might come across some for 1000-2000 lots of Venezuelans, Colombians, Cubans and other out of towners.... Mexicans too of course and can try your luck with "free" hookups. I met a Venezuelan and Cuban on my last trip, but I had a feeling they were both looking for a BF situation.... latins love to be in love. Rarely do I go out late to clubs anymore..... I just got back from Monterrey and went to a bar/cantina/cub, not sure how to categorize it until 4am, had fun and a couple of chances with guys that wanted to go to after hours places, but I was tired and tipsy, so decided to just go back to my hotel, I'd hooked up with 3 different guys on the prior days....1 free, 1 was 1700 mxn, and the other that I enjoyed the most was 1200 mxn and we hung out for about 4-5 hours.

Is why "surprise" visits may sound like fun on paper, in reality they might end up with you both in different places when you wanted to be in the same place 🧐

Depending on the route, that back bar can be quite active... my last flight, the attendant in my section was a hot Brazilian....the photo behind the bar is cool, I have a few with different things going on in them, lol

The Hilton in Copa def is NOT guest friendly.... maybe the one way out in Barra is, but who would want to stay way out there.

Marriott seems to be ok, I know numerous people that have stayed there and brought guys in with no problem. I stick to sauna guys that I bring back to my room, kind of same logic as in Thailand, freelancers are harder to track down and can disappear without a trace....bar boys depend on their job.

Be aware that MANY hotels and Airbnb don't allow guests....be sure you confirm before booking. Are you looking for gay4pay places or gay4gay? Because Ipanema is just too far from the GP places, in my opinion. I'm a fan of Atlantico because of the lax guest policy, but it might be changing. Last time I stayed there, the night reception person told me they let me bring people back because I'm a long time guest, it's changed into a more family oriented hotel so maybe they might be more restrictive like others?? if looking at airbnb's, check the rules section...if they state no visitors except those that are listed on the rental....skip it.

Over the years... at the Malaysia hotel coffee shop, when it used to be the cruising place after the bars and before the apps... There was always a table of police eating (for free) late at night, they looked the other way at all that used to happen there, so much cruising. Ultimately there was always ONE young cop at their table and all the waitresses knew me and I would pass my telephone number to the young one or have the waitress give it to him..... Only ONCE did one call me, which proves that being a stalker like @TotallyOz pays off in the end, sometimes takes time and patience 😝

In that respect, yes...... but also at a different price point than Jomtien and the experience in bed not necessarily better.

I'm a late sleeper generally, but on my last stay Boystown was pretty slow overall and didn't hear any music when I was in the hotel at any hour. I don't think Ambiance can be categorized as a gay hotel any longer...many straight people staying, probably because of the good rates and location? I still like it there..... but my next visit, I'll probably just stay in the Venue, like I said, Boystown area seems pretty slow .

Have you taken the lead from @Olddaddy and started to offer your services ?

A couple of the guys and workers live on property.... kind of like in Thailand.
