I must say this is not my experience, out of 20+ massages I had in Nov only in 3 cases I had money up front request, at Sun beside Tawan and two "straight" massage places on Silom -Relax and Playboys. On another hand request were higher you mentioned - I got them for 1000 , so it looks I had good and bad luck at the same time or may be I look as sucker and boys / successfully / tried their luck with higher amount. In two massage places in Boyztown / Copa and Scandic (now BoysClub) / I was asked to pay tip up front by the mamasan. And so it happened when I offed boy long time from Adonis but boy was given his share of tip by the boss on my watch, I asked up front how much out of requested fee you going to give to a boy. Arena website says hand job is included in minimum tip, they indicate 500 as minimum for 1 hr. course. I fully agree that 1000 for hand job without permission of exploring his body would be generous tip and crappy job for me . On another hand I'd gladly pay for body exploration permit, preferably prolonged to long time. Since your experience is considerable I suspect that boys are assessing their clients up and trying different approach with different clients. When with boy for the first time if they don't mention money and usually they don't I always ask them how much they want, surprisingly many of them instead of usual 'up to you' say "I don't know" . Only one of my Nov boys ,and this was go-go, not masseur , came with straight 3000 answer in the morning after long time off, reading my mind as he was worth that much for me anyways. One of PTY masseurs when investigated long time option suggested price of 5000 , I dismissed it with short 'no' so he halved it immediately, still too much but I agreed- to my disappointment later on.

Funny thing, it is me who insists on showering together and some boys are not very fond of idea claiming they are shy. For me this is an indication that things may not work well. I agree about not wanting to eat being good indicator that things may be rushed. Only cure for those debacles I found is to off for long time which I almost always do.. I noticed that in November, to be honest I don't mind, had a fun observing reactions of ladies in soi Twilight bars and even spoke to some, one even dared to praise my selection of boy companion I brought with me. As long as they are open minded there's place for everybody IMHO. Yes some boys seem to be distracted by females in attendance but I think as long as we can wave some King's portraits on baht notes at them we are safe. Better if there are females in attendance than bars will be closing for lack of any clients - like GUY in Walking Street
