Wouldn't be surprised if the Flamingo was closed. Last year I stayed at 750 bt , and I think I was the only guest . Went back this year, and they had increased the price to 850 bt. Lol Again, I was the only guest, and after getting bitten by mossies in the night, I checked out after 1 night .

Christian, the last time I stayed at Baan Dok, the Kari-Oke across the road kept me awake all night .. Has this stopped now , or are you a heavy sleeper ? Lol

Thinking about it, I have had some boys in other bars look to see if my bottle is empty, but they are not trying to sell me another drink, they are just being attentive to the customers needs .. So I think the poor kid in All of Me, was probably only trying to be helpful ..

Was wondering about the Mosiak , can you just turn up there to see if they have a room, or do you have to pre book .? When I have walked past previously, there doesn't seem to be a reception anywhere ?

Wow ...You really seem to have it in for this Bar , over what seems to be a very minor incident .. All you had to do was say no thanks to another beer .. Personally, I have always been made to feel welcome there, and found the staff very friendly .

Can`t say I have ever been bothered like that at All Of Me ..... Quite the opposite in fact ..

Well I have not had a large amount of days in Thailand, but I have had money stolen .. First one, boy took 2 thou. Baht from the pocket of my jeans while I was in the shower .. ( I know, I know ..Stupid me ) He was clever enough to not take it all, so I didn't notice till he was long gone .. Have also lost a £20 note , taken from a bundle that was locked in the room safe .. ( I assume the cleaner thought I didn't know how much I had , but I always know exactly how much is there )
