Arrived before the New Year for a four month visit based in BKK. (BTW- off topic I came in using the new 6 month multiple entry visa. What I had read said that I would still be subject to the initial limitation of 30 days, but the immigration officer stamped me with an initial two month stay.) The Prince. After quickly settling in, my first stop was the Prince. For a few years now it has been my favorite spot, The rooms are very nice, with private shower. There were about 20 +/- guys, good looking. I made my choice then asked the mamasan about him, and he said he was very good, straight top only. No good for me. I asked who was gay/bottom and the selection went down to three guys, any one of whom would be a fantasy come true. I picked a dark skinned guy with some nice tattoos. He turned out to be from Cambodia. Very good english which is always a plus. First shower alone while the boy gets ready. Shower after together. Boy naked throughout. Massage is on a mattress on the floor, which I prefer. The massage was very good for the "erotic massage" style, which is very soothing after traveling almost a full 24 hours, but can at times seem like he is just slowly smoothing out layers of subcutaneous fat. Special Services were great, very very enthusiastic and fun. We came up a bit shy on the allotted 90 minutes, which is something that has happened to me at the Prince before; so if that is important to you beware. For me it's not so important: I didn't think the massage or anything else was rushed, we cuddled for what seemed to me a good long time because the boy was justifiably exhausted. My other quibble with Prince is that I swear they keep the massage oil in the refrigerator. Massage 90 minutes 1,100. Minimum Tip 1,500. Adonis. Next day was Adonis. There was again a good selection of probably 10-12 guys, all very fit muscular types. A lot of guys here will compete in body building competitions, but they don't seem to be the really really big Tawan Bar type. I made my selection. Very nice friendly guy 27 years old. The shower was outside the massage room (some of the rooms there have their own shower). Pretty consistently I've found the massages here to be really very good true therapeutic massages. They use the tables with a cutout for your face, which unfortunately I don't particularly like, but not a big deal. Everything else great. Boy naked throughout. Full 90 minutes. Shower before and after together. Maybe not as glamorous as Prince, but maybe a bit more professional. 90 minute massage 900. Minimum tip 1000. (Note - they say the minimum tip is 1000 but don't specify the time period. For my own sense of fairness I usually read this to mean that if that's the tip for 60 minutes then 1,500 is appropriate "minimum-ish" tip for 1.5 hours, but I suppose if I was less than 100% satisfied I could pay less). So for my purposes, I treat Adonis as minimum tip 1,500 for 90 minutes. Arena. Next I went to Arena at their new digs. The downstairs room not as big as the old place, so when you go in and make your selection you are much closer to the guys. Good selection all types, perhaps 12-15 guys. (Arena may have a lot of guys, but maybe not all the model good looks of Prince. Still there's enough with bodies and looks to die for to make it a worthwhile visit.) My choice was easy because I immediately saw someone i knew from Fan Club. Shower in the room. Again the massage table with the face cut out. I made the mistake of saying I wanted a strong massage, and so spent the first fifteen minutes in near agony as my calves got ripped apart. (Yes I could have said something.) Boy naked throughout. Very good very experienced massage and very good very experienced very enthusiastic Special Services. Definitely got the full 90 minute workout. All in all I continue to recommend Arena. 90 minute massage 790. Minimum tip 700 per hour. Urban Male. A day or so later I went to Urban Male, another old standby. (I had intended to go to Banana Club, which is now very close by, but for some reason Banana Club doors were locked. Picked a cute petite twink from the lineup of 8-10 guys, ranging from twinks to guy next door types. Mine was nice guy from Myanmar. Shower in the room (first alone; after together). Massage table with face cutout. Massage was middle of the road or a bit better. When it got erotic very good+++. Didn't feel rushed. They used to have you fill out an evaluation of the masseur afterwards, which I frankly found a bit odd with him standing there, but at least this time they did not have me do that. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience at Urban Male but for some reason I think it might be hit or miss for many people. If you want more than a good HJ, then I think here it is important to say so. (I would have said the same for Arena, but maybe because I was with someone I knew already that was well understood.) 90 minute massage 1,500. Minimum tip 1,500. (Despite the positive experience, I think from a pure value perspective Urban Male doesn't really deserve the premium pricing.) Bonny. New Years Day after dinner at Maxi's I went to Bonny. My own personal experience with Bonny's is just plain inconsistent. My own fault, but I went with the guy who they offered me, who was not my really my type, but sometimes I just like to go with the flow. Massage is mat on a floor in "private" rooms where the walls often do not go up to the ceiling, but maybe you hear something next door, not a big deal. The massage was very good, Special Services, ok if a bit mechanical. First time this trip the masseur did not get hard. Shower together before and after. Showers are outside the room and there's just a partition so invariably end up showering with my guy and another customer is 2 feet away with his. Hooray for community. Because i have my doubts about Bonny I only chose a 1 hour massage, and even then came up short on time. I think for Bonny there can be a lot of inconsistency among the different masseurs, so here I really should make sure that I pick the boy AND if I care really make clear what I want. (Sometimes I care, sometimes I don't.) 1 hour massage 600. Minimum tip 600. Coming Up ... King Spa, Body Club and ???

I second Vinapu's suggestion in the other thread that walking the silom/surawong loop you can spot some. On the Silom side between Silom Complex and Soi Convent JJ-Massage always seems to have some twinkly/fem types handing out fliers but I have never been there. I think the exact location would be Silom Soi 1. There always are some at Bonny and Bangkok Massage on Soi Twilight. If you just walk up the stairs you'll be offered the next boy in line, which can be bit or miss, so you might want to either take a minute or two and pick the boy and gesture/tell him to go up with you or, if the guy you are offered doesn't suit your particular tastes, just say you want to see the others and be sure to say that you want someone who will [specify your desire]. If you're uncomfortable saying "I want a bottom" you can use a buzzword such as "someone gay." Often that's enough. If you will be disappointed if the boy doesn't bottom just be sure to confirm with him. These guys are pros. There is a spot further up on the left as you go down Soi Twilight towards Classic Boys that usually has some twinkly types parked at outside the beer/pool table bar. Urban Male has a few twinkly fem types. Definitely have to confirm all expectations in advance unless you like the uncertainty of what will happen next. If you are willing to go further afield, IMHO King Spa has some stunning guys who trend towards the twink, 'though I don't think really fem. Thaimassageboy.com can give you a clue as to the types at the participating shops. If you sign up for one of the Line chat groups you also get daily doses of eye candy. Not too long ago the answer could simply have been Fan Club. Alas, now closed. Good hunting!

I would say definitely Classic Boys, Fresh Boys and Screw Boys (in roughly descending order). Last year X-Size had a good selection of all types, but I haven't been there this year. Happy hunting.

I also used Airbnb to book a condo in BKK for a four month stay. I chose to stay in one place - Aree - for the whole time, but splitting up the time in different neighborhoods might have been fun too. When you inquire about your booking, you could specify that the condo should include a weekly maid (meebaan) service.
