Seredipity - January visit - Bangkok, Pattaya, and back
steveboy replied to ggobkk's topic in Gay Thailand
Looks like a nice place to visit. I will look for it in my next trip, maybe an occasion to visit again the National Museum and then take a stroll across the Phraya river to see the barges. I like the glitz and ornaments, an opportunity to take some new pictures... -
Bangkok/Yangon/Bagan/Mandalay Trip Report: Playing With Fire

At all times there is a morning somewhere in the world. -
LOL! you left me thinking... what is more decadent? the third wife's second car or the second wife's third car? Regardless, they should feel good about their cars, paid with the pleasures of so many men...

It is sad to be back home in a shitty environment, and I doubt that any amount of pleasure during a short visit in paradise can make up for that. Our happiness at home should be by far our first priority, and there should not be a need to go on vacation out of desperation. I have so many fond memories of pleasurable vacations in many S.E. Asian cities, yet I have never felt a need to change my spending habits and burn through all the money in my possession. Maybe this is my personal opinion because I get so much satisfaction out of spending wisely. If one day I find like vinapu that US$100 is worth a good night of pleasure with a boy, and this is my desire, then I will have spent WISELY. But if I find myself in BKK for a week bar hopping and boy hopping in order to consume a generous sum budgeted for "the best of fun" I will feel... stupid.

Thank you for your kind advice. I have a good idea of what to expect, and I like any sex where I am in control. The uncertainty is in the details.

Seredipity - January visit - Bangkok, Pattaya, and back

Reading your posts I realize that we have much in common, but this excerpt called my attention for the relevance this has for the not so young gentlemen like me and others. I had also moved on even before retirement thanks to a dedication to exercise and healthy eating. And I take zero medications. And like you, my only encounter with somewhat serious medicine has been... the prostate. Some time ago my PSA number doubled, crossed the infamous threshold, and I was not urinating well. So I visited an urologist for a thorough test, and all the minor results came up negative. But... the high PSA... only a biopsy could answer that ! I decided to wait, and in the meantime I started taking the herbs recommended for the prostate: saw palmetto, psyllium, beta sitosterol, etc. and my enlarged prostate got better. Six months later and another visit to the urologist, with the same recommendation: Biopsy! By then I was under pressure by my GP doctor, my urologist, and my MD son. What if it is a malignant cancer that could metastasize, blah blah blah. One full year passed in my indecision. At the next visit, the urologist was convincing and I scheduled a biopsy. A weak before the time I called off the biopsy... indefinitely. Now two years after the first move, my BPH is well under control by the inexpensive natural herbs, the PSA stopped climbing, and except for the urologist my two other doctors are satisfied and tell me that I made a wise decision. It is a pity that one has to be put under so much pressure, and I hope one day there will be a much better answer than that from a prostate biopsy. In the meantime, I am resolved to Use it before I Lose it. -
Too bad, that is so sad ! Now it seems very probable that the place will go out of business before I have the opportunity or the interest to visit it !

I thought like you until about ten years ago. Then I started making 100% of my travel reservations online. Shortly thereafter, most of my electronics were purchased online Then practically all of my small appliances came through online purchases. Some years ago, after starting with Amazon Prime, my vitamins, supplements and other stuff come by mail. Five times I bought shoes online, and only once I returned a pair (at no cost). So I am sold to purchases online. Now as I read, a new exciting perspective opens up: sex online !! (of course, only in Thailand to begin with) I could apply my criterion of the 10% or so: if one out of ten online purchases is a loss, I am still ahead considering the lower price and convenience. When it comes to boys, I may be satisfied if only one out of three encounters through apps is a disappointment. I look forwards to do some experimenting in my forthcoming trip to BKK

I must have traveled between Babylon and Silom, Babylon and Lumpini at least a hundred times... always by foot. At daytime and at nighttime. (I could walk between Sauna Mania and Babylon after midnight without any street lights) I never took a motorcycle in BKK. Being on vacation and always with plenty of time, I enjoy walking in my comfortable tennis shoes. But even more important, I don't like the safety statistics of riding a motorcycle in BKK. Thailand is the second worldwide in the number of road accident deaths. And motorcycle deaths account for 73% (!!!) In comparison, pedestrian deaths account for 8%. Still not very good, so I take extra precautions (after the first time of nearly being run over) especially when crisscrossing streets, and I look for any alternate ways like going up or down on overpasses and underpasses. Patience and calmness is a valuable ingredient for a long life...

Oh please!! I'm dying to see those pictures. I'll trade my entry ticket to Heaven for the pictures...

I am also starting to see how reasonable it is to buy sex. More so than buying other services. And "money boy" is as improper as to say to go to a "money doctor", call a "money plumber", etc. What is more intimate than to have a "money gastroenterologist" look at the inside of one's ass with a colonoscopy?

LOL! Let's remember that girls, women are the natural (or let's say typical) admirers of male bodies, and many of them prefer beautiful young gays or bisexuals in bed to ugly older straights. Even me, 80% or so gay, would prefer to have a young beautiful girl in bed than an unattractive man...

I would not experience good sex with someone who doesn't enjoy it as well. I would take the initiative and try my best but there is no 100% assurance that one can make the boy enjoy. In this case, the paid boy should at least have interest and see to it that we are pleasured, since this is implicit in the transaction. If boy would come up with strange attitudes like not wanting to get naked or be touched, my strict business would be to send him away with minimum tip, even if hell breaks loose. (I'm preparing in my mind what I should do when I start paying for sex... )

Rather ridiculous post. Excerpts from posts are properly selected all the time.

If this is your opinion, it is a misunderstanding. I think there is a good way and a bad way to make use of commercial sex, and this depends on the person.
-
My free sex in BKK has never cost me more than 300 baht or so in entrance fee to sauna... or zero baht elsewhere
-
Well... this helps! One can feel strange negotiating 100 bahts in a drink but it may help one to become more assertive...
-
Will they let you negotiate down drink prices without being too rude?
-
How come? We cannot count the sex of a married couple as "free". Wife and children can be quite expensive, as many heads of household know... Sex with jealous BF is not free either, for obvious lack of freedom. This leaves the "sex for free" the one in a sauna, for example, free after paying the admission fee, which some establishments want to make it less free for us over 50 y.o.

I don't want to be rude, but with such sour, ugly and demanding character it is commendable that any boy can put up with it for some time before getting the hell away from him. It is sad to see a person who dips so low with his concern of being smiled and given sex for the full extend of his money's worth. Just when I am getting at ease with the idea of myself paying for sex, something I have been a little reluctant to do, I read this character who personifies the commercialization of sex. He doesn't care what the preferences of the boy are. He only cares for himself. The boy has to smile before he lets go of any money. That makes me puke, and I hope that until my last breath I will have boys who smile at me for what I am, and I will care to make them feel as good as possible like in any non-commercial sex.

Any Feedback on the Raya Hotel on Surawaong Road?
steveboy replied to paulfort's topic in Gay Thailand
LOL! I surely agree with you. Being on the road hungry and looking from the outside at countless eating places makes a skeptical person like me uncomfortable with doubts of what their food might be. I also wish we could recharge with unqualified electricity like our electronics! And travel guides used to be the only way to get help. But one gets so little useful information out of these big books that for a fraction of their weight the smartphone is a much better option. Food is one reason I like to stay at Babylon: long, plentiful breakfast (with nice conversation with fellow travelers) and two decent restaurants inside the sauna. Being an animal of habit I don't mind to eat always the same, and I do so at home. I have very little interest in eating the local cuisines after I have tasted them already. I am the worst enemy of fancy chefs... Reading here about eating a huge breakfast that can cover the whole day reminds me of my habit at home of eating five smaller meals during the day. But when on vacation WTF!, it's time to enjoy even if it is not so healthy, and for a few days it cannot make much difference. -

Not in Singapore. In every hotel there I had to pay an arm and a leg for the WiFi. -
But it is the ultimate side of the equation...

Buy yourself a decent watch, so you don't have to roughly count two hours
