You don't win elections in the US (or most western countries) in the 21st century by only promoting your own candidates. Also, if your opponent is a serial sex offender, a sociopath and believes TS documents are there to impress chicks then of course you attack him. Elections aren't about impressing your own voters, they are about winning over those in the middle and those who haven't made up their minds yet.

The trip I took in March Man > Bkk with 3 weeks in Zing Resort cost me £1100. The same deal in October would currently be £1039. Both flying Qatar with changes in Doha. I don't see these as a huge difference to my last pre-Covid trip which was around the £1000 mark though on Emirates. If you ride defensively, with full protection and using advanced rider practices, you are still left open to the unexpected. Something that would be a very minor shunt in a car due to its inherent stability can easily escalate into a fatal crash om a motorcycle or scooter. Given that nearly everyone in Thailand rides without protection, very aggressively and squeezing through the smallest gaps on all sides of vehicles often while texting their friends, it's a recipe for disaster.

I also don't see the benefit of someone calling him unlucky and begging others for money, but hey ho, here we are. There are risks we take because we understand the risk and either have the risk within our own capabilities or can mitigate it. Then there are risks like not wearing a helmet where literally everyone around you has an impact on that risk. I've ridden motorcycles for decades, I mitigate the increased risk of riding one by wearing appropriate protective gear, taking advanced riding courses and always riding defensively. I still also know that can all be undone by another road user not paying attention and some risk still exists.
