I know this is too late to be useful for olddaddy, and is outdated information, but I used to stay at Furama Silom. However, on my last visit a few years ago I got a low level room and it was in need of a re-do. It was looking very tired and in need of some work. Even more than me. I'd also never had a room that low in the building. I went elsewhere after that. Always found the breakfast was a wide selection buffet, regularly re-stocked, and with the 'egg station' for your freshly fried / scrambled / omelette eggs

Not going back that far, but many might not remember that the previous location, across the soi, was at first only half the size. It was only a bit wider than the current site. At some point they expanded back behind / to the right of entry of the entry door. I think I once saw Tawan on the original Suriwong location but didn't visit it there. I imagine they regularly had competition level bodybuilders then, as they did in the early days of the Soi Tawan Sorry for the interruption to the non-Tawan discussion in this thread 😆

Hi all Does anyone have up to date information on Bali ? Heading there shortly for my first visit Is Jack’D used much ? If not, what’s the best alternative ? What are rates like for short time or overnight ? As a guide to what I’m after, I’m a fan of Tawan (Bkk) 💪🏼

As I mature (get older) I can see the benefits for both sides with aged different or even inter-generational relationships. Relationships don't have to be the exchange of the same as much as a fair exchange and contribution. Being gay we notionally have more freedom to define our relationships how we want with less expectation of sticking to social norms. If Spokedark is as genuine and attractive as he appears .... The other perennial question is, if not in Tawan, where and how do you find real muscle in Bkk ? Are there bodybuilders available through the Apps, and if so which ?

Am about to return Thailand for long overdue holiday and wanting to treat myself to some muscle, yes I’m Tawan fan. Has anyone been there more recently to confirm if there are genuine bodybuilders regularly working there. It’s been so long so Ideally I’m after some serious muscle 💪🏽

You said here you saw muscle boys and mentioned the muscular guys. Is this genuine muscle guys, bodybuilder, strong gym guy or just trim muscular guys ? Tawan muscle or just toned muscular guys ?

Can any recent visitors to Tawan advise on the quality of the guys. What shape are they in ? Are there any true bodybuilders or genuine muscle there at the moment ?

Do any board members have recommendations for tailors in Bangkok ? It's years since I've been to a tailor there and am thinking of doing so on my next visit, so was wondering if anyone had recent knowledge or experience with any. Thanks
