I have wanted to visit the Philippines for the first time but don't know where to go. The Philippines is a large country with so many islands. Where are some of the best places to visit as a gay tourist? Any recommendations on gay venues? Where to find boys? Thank you for your help!

Hi guys. Long time lurker, always meaning to post, now I find myself in need of advice. im currently in Manila and was keen on heading to Fahrenheit but I’m having a bugger of a time finding the entrance. Is there a trick to it? I’ve tried contacting them with no luck. I’m at the address but can only see a number of eateries. The hotel they refer to in the address is nowhere to be found. any advice would be appreciated.

This came up on my Asean Now feed today - which is now run by The Thaiger. https://aseannow.com/topic/1396562-thailand-ranks-second-in-2026-retirement-abroad-index/ Also the Daily Mail in the UK is reporting this as well at: https://www.dailymail.com/travel/article-15889337/best-countries-retire-abroad.html It says that this survey ranking is new - but when I searched for the source reference - it seems to have been published in February 2026 - before the Strait of Hormuz crisis. So, the situation in the Philippines has degraded somewhat after the President declared a National Energy Emergency. Anyway, it is still an interesting read. Here i…

Anyone planning on going to Philippines for guys in 2026 or your not interested in the Philippines ?

Interesting rankings and results. Spoiler alert: I was quite surprised that Manila did not make the top-5 - as most of our members on our Gayguides forum give their preference to Manila. So, happy to see some of the other places mentioned in the Philippines for this gay retirement report.

I stayed one night in Quezon/Manila recently. After scrolling through a million posts on X, I still had no idea which massage shop I wanted to visit. I chose a hotel that put me within walking distance of several shops. Since I didn’t want to take my phone into a sauna/spa, I brought a map I had prepared and printed out at home (yes, a paper map — but not an outdated one like some other members here). First, I contacted a shop that had some promising pictures on Telegram, only to discover it wasn’t actually in the area. Stupid me. The second shop didn’t answer on Telegram — maybe it had closed for good. Finally, I decided to just walk to “T by 27 S…

Just finished a week in Manila and had more guys than I can handle and I said No money boys They love big 🐻 Daddies in Manila I think there is more top guys wanting to fuck old caucasian guys If I being a big hairy Daddy with a beard at 60yo can meet FREE young Filipinos who only in two cases asked for taxi/grab fare then I'm sure you guys can ! The problem with Manila is the traffic so Grab charge a lot One taxi fare was 500 pesos and return about 300 baht but he was a young uni student 19yo and worth it , unfortunately he was a bit clingy and wanted to go to the cinema with me after sex which I don't like You can see it's 0825am in the mor…

When it comes to ferry disasters, The Philippines seems to have more than another other Asian country, including Thailand. CNN is just reporting that an inter island cargo and passenger ferry with more than 350 passengers from Zamboanga en route to the southern island of Jolo capsized around midnight. Apparently it encountered technical problems (as many in the past seem to have done) before sinking. So far rescuers have saved 215 of the passengers but another 7 have died. So far the others remain missing. The weather appears to be good as search and rescue efforts continue. As the CNN article continues - Sea accidents are common in the Philippine archipelago …

Has anyone tried of these spas? https://infinityspa.ph/ They have many different locations, and all their masseurs are male. And if you have tried, can you report on whether the masseurs are open to receiving a big tip in exchange for getting fully naked, and more?

I met a really cute gay masseur in a spa in while on vacations in Bohol. He works at a spa there. The spa itself is not great and does not offer any sort of privacy, for the massages, so I wouldn’t recommend it. But Melvic offers massages at his own place. If you are in Bohol he can pick you up with his motorbike and take you to his place. I had a really nice time with him, great masseur, great extras. you can find him on Grindr advertising as “massage for hire” if you are in the Alona beach area. PS: I am posting this with his permission.

Although i used to visit Manila quite regularly when I first arrived in Asia, I was never there for one of the regular typhoons. Given that regularity I often feel sad for the Filipinos who have to endure such misery and damage in their wake. Now it's an earthquake which has devastated some of Cebu. Not only was it a big one at 6.9 on the Richter scale, it was relatively shallow meaning the destruction is worse, the more so since it struck after dark. The US Geological Service has recorded four aftershocks of more than 5. The shaking of the indoor sports hall near the end of the video is really scary.

The Philippines has always suffered from typhoons. I suspect well over 50% of those which originate in the Pacific hit the islands: some just a fleeting glance; many with devastating force and consequences for the people, especially those living in what most of us would describe as abject poverty. As soon as Ferdinand Marcos became President in 1965, corruption has been ever-present in The Philippines. The country is still controlled by a small number of fabulously wealthy families, much of that wealth accumulated over the decades as a result of corruption. In this century alone, no less than three Presidents have been jailed for corruption and misuse of pubic funds.…

CEBU Trip Report – Part Ia (28 & 29 December 2024) This is my active ongoing trip report for Cebu City in the Philippines. I am in the Philippines for 62 days as part of my tax minimization plan, as discussed in this previous post: https://www.gayguides.com/topic/61065-bangkok-trip-report-august-2024/page/5/#comment-419422 The other objective is to see if I can find a retiree place that is similar to what I have back in Jomtien Thailand, in the Philippines. Consequently, I will search for hirise condos that are on or near the beach with balconies with sea views – as is commonly found in Jomtien. This will prove to be a difficult task as discussed…

Any difference you noticed between Thai 🇹🇭 and Filipino boys 🇵🇭 My feelings and my feelings only .these are my thoughts you don't like it ,tough titties Filipino boys🇵🇭 are more patient at getting your money than thais Thai are very impatient want money for everything,I find Filipino boys are "long riders" in it for the long run. I find Filipino boys "more caring " that's why I guess many work in aged care nursing in western countries and nurses 💊💉 I find Filipino boys more "clingy" I find Filipino boys more appreciative than Thai boys who I find are ungrateful most things I usually can have a intelligent conversation with a Filipi…

From Washington Post Rodrigo Duterte, the former Philippine president who has been accused of crimes against humanity and the extrajudicial killings of thousands of people during his war on drugs, was arrested Tuesday in Manila under a warrant issued by the International Criminal Court, the government reported. Duterte, 79, was detained by the Philippine police shortly after flying into the country from Hong Kong at approximately 9:20 a.m. A former lawyer turned populist leader, Duterte served as president between 2016 and 2022, a period in which he openly advocated for executing alleged criminals and oversaw the killings of thousands in what authorities …
