Day 12
 Nice chat with older gentleman with English accent in the café during breakfast.
Lazy morning as my van is supposed to pick me up at noon. It  turned out that first van took me just to bus station where I was directed to another one. All very well organized .
 I don’t like those vans but bus was in less convenient times . In 3 ¼ hrs. we were in the city center of Siem Reap . Van dumped me just past bridge on highway 6 from where I could easily walk to my hotel. After sitting in the van  it was actually very nice to have such a walk.   
  My hotel Domi was advertised on Agoda as built in 2025 but that seemed  quite an exaggeration. No complains though , for less than 30$ a night I got big room with breakfast. In the room no safe and no fridge but big desk  was a nice feature. Definitely for that price I can stay there again.
 Being in such worldly city I felt an urge to sample some western food and since somebody mentioned Greek restaurant close to Old Market here I went to search for it. Not that it required any effort , it was right there on the main street across the market.
 It was surprisingly busy, I got only free table left. Souvlaki with French fries and salad plus Cambodia beer and modest tip set me back at 18.50 $ Quite princely sum for Cambodia dining  but I’m on main street of very touristy city so no wonder.
 Happy that my food cravings were satisfied I went to exchange some money and returned to hotel where I booked my tuk tuk driver for tomorrow’s temple sightseeing through Grindr. Actually there at least three drivers advertising their vehicles on the site. No idea why I picked up most expensive of them at 30$ per day but it is nice to support gay business in low season I guess.
In the evening bar hopping. Barcode first. It was quite full , watched the show over 6.50 $ beer . Not sure what was more funny – show or watching patrons reaction to various antics by performers. But fun it was. 
I was keeping an eye for possible night companions  but there were not too many . There was some stunner by the door but clearly he was not interested but for esthetics on departure I slipped him 20000 and went to GOD.
Not too many people inside  but there were few farangs and few guys who could be looking for company. One  I recognized immediately and so did him – I bought him a drink in July for old time sake as we met closer during my covid time trip there. He was sitting with somebody though  so I ordered my gin and tonic and wait what happens .
 Soon familiar face showed up and seeing me alone , sat beside. It was T.  He noticed likely spark in my eye as I recalled him from Jomtien Complex  as well as from Grindr. He confirmed both , I  bought him a drink and over that drink he asked obvious question: ‘ do you collect stamps ?” , ‘yes’ , “ can I see it” , sure.
 One more drink and I was ready to go. We took remork  for 4000   and soon were in my room trying to find where that collection was. I did not expect much from Jomtien Complex twink but he was very enthusiastic, ahem , collector so we had pleasant time indeed. That we need whole night went without saying  and actually it was me in the morning who suggested he is free to go. Honestly , when he left I started to suspect that I know who my companion next night will be.

Day 11      
In the morning storm and rain, no wonder I slept so well. I went for breakfast and then was waiting good 30 minutes for driver ( the same like yesterday ) who no doubt took an advantage of good night sleep as well .
 We went to Ek Phnom temple . In fact there are 2 temples there very ancient in ruins and quite new . As it was raining I had site to myself. Of course when I was about to finish , rain stopped .
Then we went to another temple  which during Pol Pot times was a prison. Of course  there’s another memorial with people’s remnants , one never will go far in Cambodia without such a site.
That’s it with sightseeing , driver delivered me to hotel  so I can spent afternoon busy doing nothing.  Wandering aimlessly through the city, visited regional museum , arranged ticket to Siem Reap for tomorrow through reception and after dark took advantage of hotel’s pool to take a plunge. Quite busy tonight in the courtyard , it looks some tour stopped there overnight. Easy day today  but I liked it and even morning rain did not bother me much.

Day 10
 My guy decided to skip the breakfast and in the morning went back to mom and dad.
 Deluxe Villa doesn’t offer breakfast but next door is small, modern café offering American breakfast for 5 $ so I went there. Did not linger too long , while breakfast was tasty , music was too loud and  AC set too low to linger longer.
 At 9.15 my tuk tuk arrived and we  set out for grand tour. First  stop – famous bamboo train  I already described and posted pictures from in this thread on page 7.

 Then some ancient wooden residence , more than 100 years old. Must be popular place with locals as owner was busy  guiding tour of what looked like college students. Thing which drew most of my attention was quite impressive collection of Cambodian money   with quite a few rarities ( I know a thing or 5 about those things ) .
Next stop was Banan temple , ancient structure on top of the hill so requiring  bit of climbing. Because today is last day of 3 days long holidays place was crowded with locals , both praying and just sightseeing.
 Then , closer to the city mountain with Killing Cave and Bat Cave. Killing Cave is chilling testimony of Khmer Rouge atrocities. They were keen to save bullets and other killing tools so people condemned to death were just thrown to the cave by natural opening in  ceiling. We are not talking about  XII century but goings only 50 years ago.
 In the cave is memorial – stupa with remains of some of the victims. Mind you , local commander of Khmer Rouge in Battambang was apparently quite humanitarian in comparison to his more devoted colleagues from other regions.
 Bat Cave  on other side of mountain we left for the end  for simple reasons. Spectacle of   millions bats leaving cave at dusk to , presumably , get some fresh air  starts about 5.30.  I was one of thousands gathered there.  No doubt because of holiday , bat in charge decided to speed up a bit and flu-out started  shortly after 5.
I’m not big fan of nature, which normally is at it’s best on the serving table ,  well roasted , but must admit it was fascinating. Fly-out seemed never to end , I was watching it for 15 minutes and it was  squadron of bats after squadron flying and flying .  After 15 minutes I suggested we can go as no doubt later on traffic to unload the crowds of spectator would be  enormous. I was told that it lasts about 1 hour.
 At the hotel when paying him his  fee driver surprised me by asking if I have riels instead of USD. Unfortunately I did not and blamed him directly – why you quoted your price in USD if you wished to be paid in KHR ?
After refreshing in hotel I went to the center to eat some , surprisingly tasty hamburger. Had a walk here and there  but after such busy day I went to hotel and soon collapsed on the bed , sleeping till morning without interruption. Too much perhaps for old man thought I.

Day 9
 At 5.30 am , phone started making noises so I did quick refreshing, prepared some coffee, finished packing that little I carry and walked to train station 10 minutes away.
 Few words about Aurora Delight hotel , not really luxurious but for a price certainly adequate. AC and shower worked , they provided a kettle but not tea , coffee, sugar , water etc. Location was clean and quiet despite it being very central. Safe worked but it was probably few years ago.
 There are two trains leaving in the morning , 6.40 to Battambang and 7.00 to Sihanoukville  so it pays to make sure  one boards proper one. Once inside , I was impressed. Thore were refurbished former Hokkaido Railway carriages and certainly both classes were quite comfortable with 1st class  being very comfortable.
 What I liked the most  was , at least for those seating in the first car, ability to observe  tracks train was rolling on.
All in all very pleasant trip. Was not very packed but considering that is was 2nd day of 3 days holiday it was expected , whoever wanted to go went already and returns will start tomorrow.
 On few provincial stations on the way there were bilingual banners clearly indicating that if one plans to board train at this station should buy a ticket from website or call given number to inform crew train should stop there, wow!
 Mid way train stopped at Pursat , we were clearly informed that stop will last 10 minutes and in front of station were few stands where we could buy some food and drinks. I treated myself with 2 fish cakes  at 1000 riels  a piece  and they were surprisingly tasty. Can of Coca cola   - 2000.
 Interesting 6.5 hrs , we rolled into Battambang station about 10 minutes late greeted by few remorks and taxis but since my hotel was close I just decided to walk there as a mean with acquainting with the area.
 My hotel Deluxe Villa was collection of bungalows with small pool in the middle of courtyard . Room very spacious with full sized refrigerator and bank sized safe which unfortunately did not work.
 You may recall that I was hoping  certain guy from Phom Penh visiting his parents in the area will join me so I sent him message I’m in the city. Answer was fast and clear ”I’m so happy, are you coming here or you want me to come to you “ Opted for 2nd option and he promised to be here at 6 pm
Shower and I set for a walk, City center was about 10 minutes walk, quite pleasant with river bisecting it. Interesting architecture of central market although I saw cleaner places in my travels. Certainly pleasant place but with certain provincial feel, Siem Reap feel more metropolitan in comparison and no wonder   with those hordes of tourists.
Upon returning  to hotel I arranged driver for sightseeing tomorrow – I did not want to keep my guy for the day , let him enjoy his time with parents.  He arrived as agreed at 6.p,m and I must say it created some buzz in the hotel – super  hunk visiting old crippled troll, WTF ? you could see in eyes of receptionist and maintenance guy. Those knowing smiles will be accompanying me  for next 2 days, even if I will maintain celibacy.
I was hoping we hit the sheets , at least for a while but my guy had other idea, he wanted to go out  to eat and drink so off we went.
He found  quite busy restaurant on other side of river, we got the last free table. I ordered  , what else? Chicken with cashew nuts, he took advantage of occasion and ordered 4 dishes  and I don’t think he eat more than half of what they brought. This happens quite often in Thailand and Cambodia and I’m not fun od such waste but kept quiet .  
It was still fun  with lively atmosphere, chatty waiters and live music.  I must admit it was good idea of his to come  there.
 At one point , after few hours situation become bit awkward as another oldie appeared,  obviously well known to my boy  who asked if that guy can sit with us. Sure , why not. Guy turned up to be Khmer from California. Was already quite drunk and certainly very possessive. It did not take long before  it was clear  who is third wheel here and it was me.
So when my guy said he wants to stay bit longer and have  few drinks I opted out, paid for what we consumed so far, told him  I will be waiting in the room and walked out. It was interesting as it was dark, I was in area of the city I never visited before and still found my way to hotel without any problems. It was great idea to do that walk as I sobered up a bit and not long after I arrived , my guy showed up. He told me other guy was too drunk to he packed him to taxi , ordered another one for himself.
I was glad to take back possession of what was mine, he, he. He got his share of drinks and as result was not very active  but did not mind at all of me being more energetic and it was exactly what I was looking for. I’m glad my plot to see him in Battambang worked.     
 

2026 it's great so far when comes to the items you mentioned.
Three trips to Thailand and region and no end in sight with another trip already planned for 2032. Two out of them unplanned, first spoon almost broke my left arm trying to force me to come in July and then 18past19 almost broke my right leg trying the same in Oct. extremely happy I succumbed to the force !
I found few great boys , in fact on almost every trip I find a gem about existence of I was not aware previously. Some of them sadly turn disappointing on subsequent trips but it still leaves me great memories of original encounters.
As for comparisons - I'm not competitive and don't feel shortchanged is somebody had even more fabulous trips then me,
2026 seem to be for me Year of Cambodian Boys as out of 5 best overall, 4 were Khmer.
Negatives - definitely steady rise of airfares - my October fare was 38.46 % higher than my January one.
Most unpleasant situation- losing wallet, literally hours before taking off for October trip but that generating pleasant one after return as it found a way back to it's it's rightful owner with no financial hard in between.
Travel highlights - being able to return to Uzbekistan after 49 years and to Hungary after 37.
Most sensational meetup - Olddaddy at Schatzi's.
Most sensational occurrence - myself steadily, trip after trip , becoming big fan of Jupiter , bar for years I did not like and visited max once per trip.
Most disappointing - reverse situation with Tawan, my most favorite for half generation and now, thanks for relentless tip request pummelling bar I try not even to pass by, not to mention enter.
Most puzzling - encounter with one mentioned above Cambodian guys. In my notes made morning after I indicated 5 stars, rare happening . Still can't recall what was so fantastic but hey, if I need to trust somebody , it must be myself first.

Day 8
 Quite pleasant morning weather wise, feels like spring , very un-Cambodian weather at least for few hours.
Taking advantage of the pleasant air I took long walk to a train station to buy  ticket to Battambang for tomorrow.  First class 15 $ , 2nd class , only 10$. Of course I opted for the First !
 Due to holiday morning surprisingly quiet, walking to my favorite restaurant Dolce Vita across Silver Mount hotel  I started having feeling it may be problem to eat this morning. All restaurants on the street were closed. Only busy places were temples as people went there to pray for dearly departed parents.
 Finally , across Wat Ounalom , in the small mall I found western style bakery which was opened so I could get a tea with sandwich. Not exactly very tasty but at least expensive  for Cambodia. Then walking by Kandal market I spotted barber and went to get my long planned haircut. Stupidly I did not ask how much so he charged me 20000 (5$) , most I ever paid in Cambodia was 3$  and had haircuts there for 5000 ( 1.25). Still that 5$ is about 1/3 for I’d pay at home , if that little so no complains. Happy Holiday barber !
Upon return to hotel I packed and checked out at noon. I moved to Aurea Delight hotel in Central Market area, idea being I can walk to train station tomorrow morning to catch my 6.40 train. I got room immediately and feeling bit sleepy after last night at Space  I actually did the laundry and fell asleep till at least 4. That served me well as after waking up I felt I’m back to full health after last few days being quite so, so only.
At 6 pm I took  sunset river cruise , always pleasant  undertaking in Phnom Penh where two mighty rivers -Tonle Sap and Mekong   meet right in front of Royal Palace.
I had some meal aboard abut as usually  with those meals aboard, not particularly  tasty but at least I got filled with something . Walking back to hotel I bought some provisions for tomorrow’s train trip, 2 cans of Hanuman Black beer being a must.
At 9 p.n. I took Bolt to Space bar, if only to see what serious holiday means for business. No customers at all and only one balding guy there. Got him a drink, gulped myself two and that was weekend evening in the bar. Few customers showed up when I was ready to go so at least opening made sense for the bar. Not that I was surprised as boys yesterday told me  that there won’t be staff tomorrow ( means today). 4000 remork to the hotel and off to bed but not before setting alarm for 5.30 am

I wonder who needs hotel room for just 3 hrs

Day 7
It was good idea to sleep without interruption  as I waked up at 7 am feeling much , much better then I went to bed. Breakfast in Foodland , in time to take advantage of cheap 84 baht offer ( 5.30 am to 9 am only !, after that it becomes extortionate 93 baht).
 In the room sorting my stuff as I will take to Cambodia only what I think I need there and leave rest in deposit in Raya. Since I travel light it was not had work though. Then walk around the area. Check-out at noon and I took MRT from Sam Yan station to Hualampong.
In order to get to Don Muang instead MRT+BTS+ Red Line combination I decided on MRT+ ordinary train for 5 baht one. Departed 12.51 , train arrived at Don Muang new station at 1.43pm, in  52  minutes. Frankly I doubt if other combination or even taxi would be faster. Only disadvantage is that  those trains are not that frequent so suitability of this option needs to be checked.
I had plenty of time as my flight was scheduled for 4.30 pm ( real departure 5.35 pm ) so first went to a coupon restaurant for  roasted duck with rice , 65 baht , bowl of clear soup included.
When we landed in Phnom Penh it was already dark. I bought SIM card for 6$ for 10 days and decided to take  tuk tuk for 12 $. For part of the way I was wondering if it was really good idea as for good while another tuk tuk was riding beside and both drivers  were making some strange , unclear gestures. Obviously I was paranoid as I arrived to hotel safely and quite fast at that but I’m not that easily scared and it felt bit strange. I guess next time  after dark it will be either bus or taxi.
When planning this trip I had no idea about Pchum Ben holiday, only jimmie50 alerted me about that in his thread and immediately I built hope that  certain guy I wanted to meet may want to visit his parents  in Battambang on occasion and will be my travel companion as I was planning to go there after tomorrow.
Hope lasted whole week when I was in Thailand but as soon as I settled in my Sun and Moon hotel I contacted him announcing my arrival   and it turned out that he already went there. For now I decided to keep quiet I will be in Battambang in few days , if only for better effect.
I went to Kendal market to exchange money – every trip to Cambodia I try to use more riels and less dollars and for good reason. They are quite picky when comes to quality of banknotes  and in fact I brough home back two 20$  and two 1 $ bills nobody wanted because some minor  tears , some  taped over. Riel banknotes don’t meet such scrutiny even remotely, are easy to get change  from. For good start I got 400 000 riels ( 100 $ ) in 5000’s and 20000’s and I had funds to go to my favorite bar  - Space hair conveniently located just beside my hotel.
Before bar I went to supermarket to buy something to eat, spent some time on tablet  ( forum !) and the phone.
  When I hit bar it was plain that holiday is serious affair. Very few customers, most of then finished their beers and soon I had all 5 boys on duty today more or less to keep me company in bar  tonight. Two rounds of drinks for everybody and lots of fun including under the table one.
 I learned that being lodged  next door to the bar is not really such a great idea as I had feeling I could get lucky but as soon as I pointed where I live,   enthusiasm deflated.
 They are strictly prohibited from any escorting activities on the pain of being fired and I know at least one who surely was.
 I even extracted love confession, it was sooo romantic and went like that:
 Boy “ I love you a lot”
 Me “ you love me, really ? why”
 Boy “ because you have money “
 Clean and square love confession , one can’t ask for more. Unfortunately I did not exploit that opportunity since he was one I was interested in the least.
 It was kind of costly evening but fun filled and when I went home at 1 am I was  in very good mood , no doubt because that love confession and three drinks I gulped.
 For tomorrow they warned me that none of boys will be there as all are going to see their parents – this holiday is all about that – visiting temple to pray for parents deceased and for those still lucky , visiting parents with an  annual gift. Country is on the move for occasion.
    

In the afternoon, my most loyal regular came to visit me in my hotel room. I’ve written about him quite a few times in my trip reports over the years. He’s half-Thai, half-Dutch, so I can speak my own language with him. Unfortunately, he charges European prices—but he’s worth it. So, I make an exception for him and pay an amount that would otherwise be unacceptable in Thailand. He’s sexy (see the photo below) and has a real "whorey" vibe. He also gives a great massage, and the sex that follows is fantastic, too. Completely satisfied, I lay in my room savoring the moment; as it was getting late, I took a shower and headed off toward Soi 4. I had arranged to meet @12is12 at G's for dinner.

I had also eaten at Guido’s the evening before. But this time, I went for a Thai dish instead of German. Guido’s cat was sleeping on a chair. Yesterday, when it was raining, I didn’t see the cat. Guido’s pussy apparently doesn’t like to get wet.
After dinner, we planned to visit a few bars. Since it was still quite early, we stopped by the Midnight bar for a drink first. It was lovely, as one of the forum favorites—Pay—was working there. It’s always fun to chat with him and engage in a bit of flirty banter. And always nice to get a feel of his arm muscles and lift up his shirt, too. Haha.
We moved on to Freshboy. We arrived just in time to catch a few minutes of the guys on stage before the show started, getting a look at what was on offer... There were plenty of guys, but what struck me—especially after spending the last few days at Banana and Goodboy, where the guys are approachable and actively seek interaction—was that the guys at Freshboy didn’t make eye contact at all. No smiling. Only one or two tried a bit. They all just stood there staring straight ahead, looking quite serious. Not very inviting. The show itself was the same as always; nothing new or innovative. There were quite a few customers, but it was far from a full house.
After that, we headed back to Soi 4—to Banana. The show was energetic and professional, just like yesterday. If you’re genuinely on a "boy hunt," there might be a bit too much emphasis on the show and not enough boys or nudity on display. Still, I find it a really great bar these days. There were plenty of flirtatious glances again.
For the final bar of the evening, we headed to Goodboy. We arrived before the late show started, which gave us a good chance to take a proper look at all the guys. As always, there were plenty of guys working, but very few customers this time around. Both the "mamasan" and one of the guys I know mentioned that it had been quiet all evening. In fact, things have apparently been very slow for the past few weeks—they really need more business.

Day 6
 We parted ways at 8 am as for 9.30 I was invited by 18past19 to have breakfast with him in his new hotel on Sukhumvit.  I gladly went  although when comes to the food I did not eat much.
 Unfortunately I’m not feeling well for last few days and today seems to be the worst so I had energy to talk but not much appetite for a food. Fortunately my friend had,  so he gladly devoured most of what ordered and did not touch.  We kiss our good byes as tomorrow morning he is going back home and in the afternoon I will be flying to Phnom Penh if I don’t die sooner of course.

 At noonish I returned to Togayther Hotel  , picked up my bag and went to Raya.
 They have room free already at noon and it was exactly the same room I had few nights ago. Since I have not much energy for anything  I drew the curtains and  collapsed on the bed for good sleep till 4.30pm.
Waked up feeling bit better and even hungry which for me is sign of recovery.
At 7 dinner with Christian PFC at G’s , after dinner we came to my room for more talk. Christin is not supporter of my tipping habits , that’s sure thing , lol.
BT from my 2nd night is trying very energetically to land another off with me tonight but I’m not keen as I don’t feel that well , that’s first, and also that pestering is kind of annoying. Sure it’s big ego booster   being chased by guy bit more than 1/3 of  my age but how many times a day one may hear that he misses me ? So I declined saying that I’m sick, which is true and around midnight went  to bed , hoping I feel better tomorrow morning.

Today I confirmed that the first 300 meter section of Dongtan Beach is now opened. The beach is now wider by 50 meters as a result of the sand renourishment project which started some years ago where the works began in Na Jomtien some 6 kilometers more south from Dongtan Beach.
The BIG positive surprise is that the gay beach concessions (stations) were moved to the Dongtan Beach pavilion where the aerobic fitness takes place each evening. This is where the Dongtan Pattaya Beach sign is that is in front of View Talay 7.

The beach concessions that were previously in that spot (now taken by the gay beach concessions) were moved more south of the Dongtan police box. Everything is tightly fit, but it is truly amazing how the block of gay beach concessions (stations) were able, as a group, to obtain that prime beach real estate area. Via one of my local farang friends he said that one of the gay beach concession owners mentioned that they are only temporarily in this location until the beach sand renourishment work will be completed in their former location sometime in December, when they will move back to where they were previously located in front of the Rabbit Resort.

So, if you are coming to Dongtan Beach in the next 6 to 8 weeks you can look for your favorite gay concession in this new temporary location - instead of walking all the way over to the Rabbit Resort area.

no, not really. Once you enter is kind of short corridor ( look for my red bag) separating toilet from shower. There's also curtain separating bed/desk area from bathroom entry part which can be drawn.
Since somebody assumed while ago that there are bathtubs in every room , I need to say that's just a legend , there was in some , in middle of the room at that but by no means in all rooms.
I liked Aiden but since is well above what I'm willing to pay I doubt I will be back soon. My heart is still in Raya and Baan Silom.

Day 5
 As it is his habit  my companion  declined breakfast invitation so I went down  to walk him out and then returned to the dining room on top floor   to enjoy my sumptuous breakfast. They have a la carte and buffet options , I went with a la carte just because.    
 At noon another change  of hotel.  Tonight it will be new Togayther on Patpong 1.
They did not have room  available at noon , told me to return at 3 but I did not mind  that anyways as 18past 19 invited me for lunch to his new hotel in Sukhumvit area. So I dropped luggage at reception and went there.  Nice talk  over lunch , we resolved to visit Jupiter tonight. Around 3 pm I returned to hotel, got my key card and went up to the 6th floor.
Hotel is not expensive but room is small and pretty bare bones, no tea / coffee, no kettle , no safe. But AC worked very well, bed linens were fresh and clean, water pressure in shower was great , at end of day what one really needs ?  . Not sure about other rooms but mine did not have  a window.

Considering  that Patpong location perhaps it was not a bad thing. I expected room to be noisy at night but no, it was quiet. Only noise was from elevator mechanism  but always looking at full half of glass  I was glad that there’s elevator.
I don’t feel very well today although medicine seems to be working so no fever , no throat discomfort but generally I’m kind of weak and deprived energy.
Spent most of afternoon in the room, at one point some super noisy racket  made me to see what happened as it sounded as start of revolution or coup d’etat. No, it was about dozen of Chinese guests having conversation on ground  floor by the lobby.
Not very considerate I’d say but at least it was 5 pm not 5 am.
At 10 p.m. walk to Jupiter as agreed with 18past19 earlier. Not too busy tonight but  buys were looking great , out of 3 I tipped during 1st walkabout , two returned smile during second walk. Goes without saying that one who did not was one I was most interested in , one of two Myanmarese brothers gracing Jupiter  with their presence.
I’m not giving up on either one , lol.
After show we decided to check Dreamboys so went there. I was hoping to see D I offed several times already. He was there looking at his phone  and seemed happy to see me . he even said “ I know you are here , I saw you on Grindr”.
It was easy to decide what to do – drink, off fee, walk to Foodland to eat something and  back to hotel.  That was energetic  night, D may be many things but definitely sandbag he is NOT. I guess gift he was coveting which I brought for him from home  energized him a lot. No , I did not deduct value of goodies from his tip – he fully deserved to be paid in full

Day 4
 Long talk with 18past19 over breakfast at Raya. We always have plenty to talk and occasion to meet face to face is quite rare.
Today we both are leaving Raya. I will be back but decided to check  two new hotels in the area , 1 night each. For that reason I left some of my goodies in a suitcase in deposit  at Raya and around noon walked with rest of my stuff to Aiden Suriwong hotel. It’s half way between soi Tawan and XOne  so  still very close to Patpong.
Super modern , new and shiny. I was hoping room will be free and indeed it was  so I could park myself there  right at noon. Reception is actually on top floor, interesting concept meaning also discretion if one is bringing guest although they have  staff on duty on 1st level all the time.
Not much in the view from window department but since I booked cheapest room they had ( doesn’t mean cheap though ) I did nor expect I will be treated with suite. It took me a while to figure how to turn lights and AC  on and off. Simple switches were replaced on panel on the tablet, go figure, fucking XXI century . No closet ,just few hangers on the hook another sign of modernity but there was desk   - always important  feature for me and what I like particularly – separate shower and toilet.
 Rainy afternoon so other than XOne to change money and then Foodland  for lunch I did not go anywhere. At 4 p.m. I was expecting BOI ( Boy Of interest)  from  Jupiter. It was actually him who initiated meeting ‘ shall we meet today?”, always good sign. After last night celibacy I could use company , specially company of such handsome hunk .
I’m of opinion that straight boys know better on which tree money grows  and he did his best to prove my point , engaging , enthusiastic, patient and skilfully pretending to be happy with me. Great short time , not exactly cheap but worth every satang. Good English was a bonus , not that we talked much.
Before he left he asked about long time option and I told him it’s in the cards later during trip.
I hope I did not sell him some bug as I feel something bothering me in the throat so went to pharmacy to buy some aspirin and other cures.
 At 8p.m. again to Foodland to eat  my other staple – chicken rice soup, 62 baht , tasty and  filing. At 9p.m. 18past19 came to my hotel to see the room and we decided to inspect Moonlight tonight. It was quite well patronized today, surprisingly for mid-week , certainly more customers than last 2-3 times I was there. Mamasan Jessica was happy to see us.
Neither of our favorites , Nut or Y was there  but models came in force , about dozen of them including Khun who was absent for few years since covid. I gave my customary red note to one guy who always smiles at me. Not my type exactly but I appreciate that smile. Leechy mamasan  was absent today  so we weren’t really bothered by the staff. 
After show, at 11.30 p.n. we changed scenery to Midnight bar. P and my other favorite from there, one I offed on my first night were there so we bought them drinks. While by friend took an interest in P,  other guy sensed an opportunity and become quite clingy and kissy . That worked, specially when he whispered “ I go with you ?”. Off we went after paying their extortionate 600 baht off fee.
Night was more romantic than steamy. Since I was not feeling 100% , warm body was all I needed to keep me indeed , warm and happy.
