Last night, my last night in Merida, i had planned on finishing up some minor work on the house, have dinner with one of the guys i met this week who i really liked and get to bed by 10:00 as I had to be at the airport at 6:00 am, but it didn't happen! I had set up a dinner date with a guy i had been with several times and he said he would come by at 6:00 to pick me up for dinner. At 5:30 a got a message on grindr from a guy who said "Grindr shows i am very close to your house!" I looked at his profile and he was 27 and handsome! I told him i was going out to dinner in a 1/2 hour unfortunately, and he says "then there will only be enough time for a couple of kisses!" So he came over 5 minutes later, and he was better looking in person! When my dinner date arrived i asked him if he would be ok if he came along and he said no problem! This guy was from Mexico city and visiting his mother. after dinner we parted as the one guy was meeting friends to go to a club and i said i had to finish packing and get up early for my flight home. but it wasn't going to happen! at 10:00 i got a message on grindr from a guy who looked cute was 25 and a civil engineer for the city. he came over at 11:00 pm and we had great conversation until 1:00 am and then we went to bed and were still awake when the alarm went off at 5:00! I can't wait until my next trip!

last night i went to the gay club that is about 6 blocks from my house. i ran into the guy who i met twice before and who i really like who works there, we had a few drinks together and the i left about 12:30 am to go home. at 8:30 this morning there was loud knocking at my door and i thought it was the guys to repair the solar so i jumped out of bed and it was the guy from the bar! He obviously didn’t go home after he got off at 4:00 a.m. and came in and climbed into bed and immediately fell asleep! he finally woke up at noon and we fooled around and talked and he left at 1:00pm and said “thanks see you later tonight?!”. i have a dinner date tonight but may move things around i really like this guy!!

i have never gotten it because the 3 cities i visit Rio, São Paulo and Porto Alegre it is not a issue, but inland and north of these cities i think it would be wise!

the guys i have met are more Spanish , i am not really attracted to the indigenous looking guys not to mention the fact that the indigenous people are extremely short, women being under 5' tall and the guys not much over! Since i am 6'4" we would make quite the odd couple! most of the guys i have met are from 5'6" to 6' I lot of the guys I have been with don't look a lot different then the Brazilerios imho. here is a photo taken at my house at a party and you can decide for yourself. the tallest guy is 6'1"

last night i invited a guy from grindr over and it was one of those perfect dates! the property is worth more to property developers either commercial or high rise residential! just like most major cities! NYC had SBNY(splash bar new york) it was there for over 15 years in Chelsea and very profitable(the manager was a bf of my friend) but the owners got a offer and it’s now going to be a high rise condo! São Paulo and Rio are the same! Juniors lease is up in less then 2 years also, and the owners of pointe’s building are the owners of the Atlantic hotel a few blocks away. they are either putting a hotel or condo where pointe is! the same with Lagoa!

Last night i went out with friends to dinner got back about Midnight and was really tired so thought i would go to bed in 15 mins...but i got a text from a guy here that said ”hey are you at your house? a friend and i are close by but he is straight and wants to go to the straight bar and i don’t! can i stay with you tonight? He has stayed here before and i know him so i said “sure but i am really tired and am going to bed but if you want to stay up and watch TV that’s fine.” this was 12:30...we finally went to sleep at 3:30! lol so much for a night alone to rest! i am back in Brazil the middle of April!

i am happy hour at Villa Verde, beautiful hotel that when i first entered the property i thought must have 25+ rooms! it has Five! Beautiful grounds right in the center of the city! It is owned by a gay American couple and has a swimsuit optional sundeck area that cannot be seen from the pool which sits in front of the bar! while i would consider this a Gay hotel today while i am having a drink here i noticed that 3 of the couples staying here are middle age straight, maybe over middle age! but cute couple from the states, 34 yr old white guy and 29 yr old Black guy! i am going to invite them to the party later tonight! here’s hoping

not sure where you were looking in 117 but i know at least a 1/2 Dozen that work there regularly! for sure every Tues night and usually Sundays as well, 2 are Dirty blonde color, 2 lighter blondes and two that are brownish blonde.
