  1. I am thinking of getting one of these micro laptops for this years travels, maybe as soon as Sunday or as late as next week, maybe. One of my coworkers got one from Radio Shack for $150 with a two year contract with AT&T's wireless plan for $60 a month. That plan sounds a bit steep for me but we'll see. Does anyone else have a netbook? I have a laptop now that I adore it does what I need when I need it but for travel the netbook in weight alone almost seems worth it. My coworker has the Acer and it was so freaking light! Maybe on a good day it ways about a pound? Hugs, Greg
  2. There is a saying that I was taught in a youth group that I was a member: Think twice before speaking once. Once one says something it can't really be taken back. Words can and do cut like a knife and can cause just as much damage as a bomb. Story time: So that saying I mentioned above well sometimes I forget it and I blurb out what is on my mind. A couple years back I was on the bargaining committee for a new labor contract. Things weren't going great but they weren't going bad, up to this point we'd had 4 or 5 meetings. We got onto the topic of pay. This is a hot button issue with a lot of people right up there with health care. Well one of the employers raved about their proposal on some changes they wanted to make like take away all our holiday pay blah blah blah. That was the trigger button for me. I went off on him like a rapid fire gun of some sort. Up to this point when I spoke during the meetings I was always asked to speak up since I tend to talk on the soft side. This time I was not asked to speak up because everyone on both sides of the table heard me loud and clear! I in no uncertain terms told him and I quote "Carl you are full of shit!" and a few other choice words. The room went silent, the lawyer for the employers jaw dropped and Carl went 100 shades of red of anger. After that meeting the employers refused to meet face to face with us for the next few months of contract talks. This was all because I did not think twice before speaking once and it was my delivery, the words I used. You're still young and I hope that you understand what I am saying. After this incident I now try even harder to think twice before speaking once. Sometimes I slip and I realize that I have to live with however the chips may fall afterwards. Hugs, Greg
  3. 2hard it's all in the delivery of what you say.
  4. Mentally right now I am not letting it effect me one bit. I am still traveling, buying my Madonna stuff, going to concerts when the rare gem comes to Seattle and downing the coffee like water. But I have noticed at least with my company (I work in the grocery biz) we are having some really kick ass sales, buy one get one free roasts and chickens, pre seasoned raw chickens for just a couple bucks (and they are mighty good) and I've seen decent cuts on NY steak 3 in a pack for $10 or so. Oh yeah I've seen a few buy one get one's coming back in style. A year or two ago many grocers at least here in the Seattle market started doing buy 2 get 1 free which is a total rip off imo. Hugs, Greg
  5. Boobers found this on youtube the other day so I thought I'd share it with you http://www.youtube.com/results?search_type...ooking&aq=f Lets just say this feisty mature lady knows her potatoes! Hugs, Greg
  6. I would never suggest men4rentnow.com Their billing practices are the worst! I canceled and was charged not once but twice causing me to over draft. I had to fill out paper work with my bank telling them that the charges were not authorized. Rentmen.com is good because you can see when the last time the escort was logged into the system. It's not 100% but might give one an idea on how active the guy might be. Rentboy.com is not that great either. Too much crap going on on the pages as well as charging such high fees for basic stuff. Oh and one more thing about rentmen.com is that they have video's escorts can post so one might be able to get a peak at what the escort does best or maybe even a slight intro of the escort on video. Both of which I have done. Working wise Rentmen.com is working quite nice for me better then any site I am on besides the reviews on this site and Daddy's Reviews. Hugs, Greg
  7. Oh btw I see you are in the PNW. Welcome to the neighborhood Hugs, Greg
  8. www.rentmen.com and http://boys2rentnow.com/
  9. I've entered my pretty mug into Jones Soda photo contest. You can vote for me at http://www.jonessoda.com/gallery/index.php and the photo number is 0001032172 Jones Soda really is one of the best sodas with no artificial crap added and quite yummy! Hugs, Greg
  10. That was my thoughts exactly when I saw this cartoon. For the last eight years I've thought that most of the reps in DC were either a bunch of monkeys or puppets for something large. Hugs, Greg
  11. Looks fun. I wonder if they'd let me join in? Hugs, Greg
  12. First, dress fairly nice or preppy casual. Second, make sure it is dark out. Third, meet up with your dad. Forth, take a walk back from his gf's house. Fifth, make sure it is in east LA. That is all it took for me to get the good ol' LAPD pat down. The thing that really could have sucked for me was that I had left my id at my dads and only had my atm card on me at the time. Hugs, Greg
  13. Meaning? Hugs, Greg
  14. I'm taking my first Virgin America flight next month. Everything I've read about them has been positive. I was wondering if anyone here on the board has flown them and if it was a good flight? Hugs, Greg
  15. Ok I will add the show to my to do list for LV. Anyone else want to be on the to do list? I'm not sure if I will make it to the Follies as I am not planning on being there till mid Mayish. I still need to get SF and Chicago off my plate before I can start looking at LV dates. Anyways back on topic here. I was a bit surprised at the cost of tickets. But this is what I get for mixing my days up many moons back when she was here in Seattle. As for Cher meh I don't think I will be in any hurry to see her. I do like her but not that much to fly some where and see her. Hugs, Greg
  16. I guess it's the first place you mentioned. I know its not the GCM since that is a must go to to get my gorditos and some produce when I'm down in LA. Hugs, Greg
  17. We should swap ipod's sometime cause it looks like you and I have great taste in music. I just listened to Adele the other night and was amazed at how well she sounded and didn't look like some put together pop princess ala Britney. And I LOVE Duffy! I saw her this last fall here in Seattle and she sounds just as good live as she does on cd. And that black guartist is quite lickable and more too. It was hard deciding if I wanted to watch Duffy or him *eg* Hugs, Greg
  18. Who's seen it? What did you think? Was it worth it? Thinking of heading to sin city to commit some sin and catch her show and lose the farm Hugs, Greg
  19. Well fiddle sticks! I was hoping of a story about a police officer moonlighting as an escort! Now that would have been way hotter to see then what was pictured. Hugs, Greg
  20. Last year I had to go to LA for my grandma's funeral and I stayed down in Chinatown. I got to my hotel very late that night from doing family stuff so I didn't notice it till I woke the next day but across the street from my hotel in Chinatown there was a Mexican type market. I surprisingly had quite a bit of time before I had to head to the east side to my tia's so I walked through the market and it was so freaking awesome! I felt like I had been transported back to PV. The market even had that distinctive Mexican (it's like a fermone to me) smell. I had a raging hard on walking the few blocks of the market the whole time. When I get back to LA this will for sure be a must do as I think some of the stuff would go with the theme I want to go with for the new place when we move. Raul maybe you can help me with the name of the place since you get to LA more then I do? Hugs, Greg
  21. I totally agree with the first two paragraphs of rule #9. Someone charging $200+ and expecting a tip is crazy imo. This should be totally up to the client and if the client feels the escort has went above and beyond expectations.
  22. Right now I am listening to the radio online. I can't listen to regular radio because there are a few huge communication tours kitty corner from my apt and it just mucks up listening to traditional radio. The site that I am listening to right now and am thinking is the cats meow is www.pandora.com You just type in an artist (with today's selection I use that loosely) or song and it'll play from that group plus similar sounding *cough* artists. Right now I typed in Billie Holiday, listened to a bit of her and some Ella Fitzgerald, Dinah Washington , Louie and Sarah Vaughan. What a lovely evening at home, staying warm and listening to some great tunes from some never to be repeated legends. Hugs, Greg
  23. What bank do you bank with that is closed on a Saturday? This is 2009, not 1989. If your bank is closed or you can't get through on the 1-800 number it's time to switch banks. My two banks are both open on Saturdays and I can get a hold of someone on their 1-800 number 7 days a week minus holidays.
  24. I'm not sure if you are new to hotels but this is a common and standard practice with hotels of just about any standard. The way I get out of this is I will give them my debit card checking in. After I get to my room I will call the bank and nicely ask them to release all funds that are being held for the hotel. I've never had a problem doing this ever. After all is said and done I will either ask the bank to put the cost of the room in my savings and transfer the funds back to checking before checking out or just use my credit card to pay at the end of my stay. I personally do not like hotels tieing up my money but there are ways around it. One just needs to be a bit creative. Hugs, Greg
  25. This makes me sick. I mean $5000? How many people could that money have fed? What could that money have gone to had it been donated to a woman's homeless shelter? Maybe my thoughts are in the wrong place? Hugs, Greg
