I don't think Comey is a man easily distracted. He is a bulldog whose fangs are already firmly embedded in Trump's ankle. Don't worry about our intelligence agencies. @Darkseraphim, here is a qualification that some may take as offensive, but in my experience (as a white middle-class male) is accurate, not only in NYC but also here in Raleigh, NC where I live now, and in many other cities: That 20% applies if you exclude the "Caucasian" population. Black and brown ethnicities today, judging by my firsthand experiences in Manhattan and also here in RDU, simply don't have the hangups. They are open (even historical black prejudice against same-sex doings have simply vanished over the past decade, with generational change) to it all. White kids have undergone the same change. There simply appear to be fewer who need to do sex work for economic reasons, not moral disapprobrium.

I don't know. That seems about right for any major world city even today. Certainly today in Manhattan, easily 20% of everybody is for sale sexually. And gladly so, no under- or overlay of tragic desperation or any of the usual tropes that linger still from late Victorian times.
