Likewise. I started watching it in 1969. It was still shown in the mornings in my market then; I happened upon it from the lead-in show, which on our channel was 'The Galloping Gourmet.' By all accounts from my fanatic friends who have attended every one of these DS Festivals since they got going at the end of the 1980s, the loss of Frid was sharply felt. I see now that the new forum version is intelligent enough to simply detect when you paste in a live link to an image on the web, and automatically display it as an image. No need any longer to tell the forum sw that it is an image. Great!

In the new forum software, I do not see any 'Insert Picture' icon in the command bar at the top of the posting window. Is this intentional?

I have the same problems as Numerito. There are several severe pathologies in the forum upgrade: Despite clearing cookies and history repeatedly in FireFox (Win8) I still cannot log in at all from my laptop. And on my iPhone 5C, the typing has a bizarre sluggish lag that makes posting a painful procedure. And I have the same login issues as Numerito described. I love Oz and his techs but this forum version has demons in it that make it unprecedentedly difficult to participate.

Likewise re has it been that long? I walked in the Stonewall 25 parade / processional and saw Maupin in it too. Realizing that Stonewall 25 was itself nearly a quarter of a century ago is a bit boggling. Time is the implacable enemy!

I just managed to log on using Internet Explorer 11 on a Win8.1 laptop. However, on the same laptop, I can no longer log in through FireFox which I prefer. The forum appears to accept/process my username and password, but then it kicks me back out to un-logged-in status. Same inability to log in is happening on my IPhone 5S.

AHA! Just discovered I can now post from my laptop. HOWEVER it is confusing because I see two forum login locations, and one of them indicates I am not logged in even though I am.

AHA! I can post on my iPhone as normal. But still locked out on the laptop.

Managed to do the above and this on my iPhone. On Win8.1/FireFox laptop, I appear to be logged in, but the forum sw does not recognize me as such, and will not let me post.
