  1. Verbal, oral, lingual, labial, guttural ... so many choices
  2. But then their body hair will be in one's mouth sooner or later, so what's the difference?
  3. Great!! Fiddling around fixing your own food is so much fun, and gets to be more so, the more you do it. When I first started trying to cook I was terrified. But then it turned out to be fun, as I said, even when something went completely wrong. I was just cooking for myself at first so who cares? Like Julia said, "If you're alone in the kitchen and you drop the lamb, you can always just pick it up. Who's going to know?" Then too I realized the biggest labor of feeding myself is really leaving the house to get something. Once you're out, might as well go to the grocery, where there will be a lot more choices of yummy-looking things than the same-old same-old at Burger Bin. Keep us updated!
  4. Thank you.
  5. Now we see how it really is when the chips are down.
  6. Clearly you need to read more science fiction.
  7. Trying to think of some who haven't.
  8. Two (male) royal manicurists named Niankhkhnum and Khnumhotep were found buried together in a shared tomb similar to the way married couples were often buried. Along with that are hieroglyphs combining their names together to say “joined in life and joined in death”. Strangely enough, Niankhkhnum actually did have a wife, but in most of the artwork in the tomb she has been replaced with Khnumhotep. https://www.facebook.com/NEWSLGBT
  9. Steven Soderbergh happy that 'Behind the Candelabra' landed on HBO Director says big studios all turned down Liberace film, starring Michael Douglas and Matt Damon By David Hinckley / NEW YORK DAILY NEWS Sunday, May 26, 2013, 12:39 AM Director Steven Soderbergh admits he was stunned when “all the major studios” in Hollywood passed on “Behind the Candelabra,” the story of the long relationship between entertainer Liberace and a handsome young man named Scott Thorson who started as Liberace’s driver. In the age of “Brokeback Mountain,” Soderbergh figured a gay romance wouldn’t be a deal-breaker when he’d lined up Michael Douglas as Liberace and Matt Damon as Thorson. It was. “They basically said it was too gay,” Soderbergh told TV critics this year. The studios seemed to feel that while the public may love Matt Damon and root for Michael Douglas, the affection is tempered when they’re lounging in the hot tub naked and swapping saliva. So the movie landed at HBO, which Soderbergh and executive producer Jerry Weintraub say delights them, and it airs Sunday night at 9. http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/tv-movies/soderbergh-happy-candelabra-landed-hbo-article-1.1349587
  10. Well, there is a little bit of rejecting one restaurant for another, then spending the meal talking about how bad the first place was.
  11. Just came across this endearing blog site by Jerry Torre, the Marble Faun of the Maysles' unforgettable 'Grey Gardens.' http://themarblefaun.com/
  12. Ze gentleman in ze picture is alarmed because he had been promised that $1600 at the end of the evening's fun & games.
  13. Agree it seems very unlikely it went down the drain. My washer handles ladies' tiny stocking-material footlets (don't ask ) which are much smaller than a dollar bill, and they don't get lost or pumped out. Also I have a couple of times found loose dollar bills in the tub that came out of my pocket during washing but were not much the worse for it, and obviously did not leave the tub. If it does not turn up under the agitator as mentioned, seems very unlikely it actually got into the washer in the first place.
  14. HAW! Much better
  15. And his originals are usually better than the way we misquote them now. As in the above.
  16. ...now imagining Joan yakking in the womb!
  17. "A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds." Emerson
  18. Except that with Joan the affected part would seem to be her mouth. Not that I at all object to that.
  19. ...wish fulfillment??? National Organization for Marriage Reacts to Boy Scouts of America FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: May 24, 2013 Contact: Elizabeth Ray or Jen Campbell (703-683-5004) "It's the beginning of the end for what once was one of America's noblest organizations." — Brian Brown, President, NOM — Washington, D.C. — The following statement may be attributable to Brian Brown, President of the National Organization for Marriage: "Today is a sad day for the Boy Scouts of America. They have succumbed to political pressure and abandoned their historic roots in what will prove to be a failed attempt to appease gay activists and corporate donors. Unfortunately, what they have done is said to the world that their oath no longer means much. Their decision to admit openly gay scouts will end up sexualizing the organization. I am certain that having changed their policy on homosexuality, it's only a matter of time before courts order them to admit homosexual scout leaders. Meanwhile, countless thousands of churches will very likely pull their sponsorship rather than endorse homosexuality, and the entire organization will begin to collapse. All of this is happening not because of a true grassroots demand of gay youth to be part of the organization but by an orchestrated political effort by gay activists who want to punish any group or organization that does not embrace homosexuality. It's the beginning of the end for what once was one of America's noblest organizations." ### To schedule an interview with Brian Brown, President of the National Organization for Marriage, please contact Elizabeth Ray (x130), eray@crcpublicrelations.com, or Jen Campbell (x145), jcampbell@crcpublicrelations.com, at 703-683-5004. Paid for by The National Organization for Marriage, Brian Brown, president. 2029 K Street NW, Suite 300 Washington, DC 20006, not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee.
