Problem is, DJT is asking them to cross the aisle for a ‘solution’ — the physical wall — that is no solution at all. Dems have agreed over & over to give mucho $$$ to actions that actually have been shown to work — on-the-ground agents, drones, etc etc. Yet DJT continues to insist on this — pure, crass, illogical — payback to his base.

The gimmick for success there is that you have to set up & then write into innumerable Amazon-borne blogs etc etc to get attention for your title. You have to do a shit-ton of various forms of self-promo (which they tell you about, all over their site) to drive interest and sales. Not a bad model. Just you have to promote your title relentlessly through all the avenues they give you for it to sell.

One of those far-out NYT editorialists may have hit it best when he said climate change won’t immediately manifest as universal global warming so much as global climate weirding.
