LurkerSpeaks has every right to be proud of his 215 likes! EXPAT leads with a virtually unpassable 630, then Oz with 238. In the 100's are Four Aces at 158, lookin at135, Adam Smith at 133. I am slightly ahead of Tampa Yankee, who has 100 to my 117. Reminder: Giving a "likes this" costs you nothing! You have the power to put Adam Smith ahead of lookin with just a few clicks!
  2. My trip to Vietnam started with Ho Chi Minh City, then a flight to Ca Mau in the Mekong Delta, where we took a boat ride to the very southern tip of Vietnam. Some of the tiny villages we stopped in on that boat ride were none too happy to see Americans. But people in HCMC were friendlier. I liked the city and enjoyed seeing places I had only read about. Our hotel, The Palace (which was not) supposedly had a pretty gay disco, but you couldn't prove it by what I saw. However, gay guys there, I am told, often go out with girls and then cozy up to guys as the evening goes on. It's not too good to be an out gay there.
  3. Did the Obama administration want General David Petraeus out at the CIA? The Wall Street Journal suggests that Petraeus had the CIA at loggerheads with other agencies over the Benghazi attack in Libya, could not get along with his CIA staffers, and, with the affair scandal, was no longer a threat to run for president, which was the main reason Obama put him in the CIA position in the first place- to get him out of the running, which he would presumably do as a Republican. 4. Adding just a touch more femininity to his name, our own Ms Guy may just be the singer behind this racy tune: I missed his earlier career with the Toilet Boys. This edited Wikipedia entry may provide the proof that Miss Guy is MsGuy! Toilet Böys are an American rock and roll band from New York City, USA. The band's original line-up is made up of Ms Guy, Sean Pierce, Electric Eddie, Rocket, and Adam Vomit. Wikipedia
  5. Elmer's accuser has been identified by TMZ: Sheldon Stephens, according to TMZ: Stephens’ past includes an arrest for allegedly robbing a former boss of a $250,000 gold necklace at knifepoint, according to the Smoking Gun. In 2009, Stephens allegedly stole the jewelry in California from music manager Darian Pollard after Stephens was fired from his internship. Stephens was arrested after returned to Pennsylvania but charges were never filed in California, the Smoking Gun reported. Stephens also has been arrested for passing a bad check, and reckless driving. His mother, Felicia Stephens, 48, was busted in 2011 for allegedly stabbing her husband with scissors. Felicia, charged with attempted murder, is free on bail pending trial. If you like Sheldon, here are 12 more pix. I liked #4 the best: http://www.thesmokin...ser-pics?page=0
  6. I heard that their court flings were all wrapped in plastic.
  7. Hito so wants to play ball with the general. Would you like to be Holly?
  8. TMZ and other media report: It's unclear why the accuser suddenly changed his story ... but sources close to the situation tell TMZ ... the accuser's attorney had been meeting with Clash's attorney as recent as an hour ago, discussing a financial settlement and 6-figures were on the table. 9. I've never cared for the heavily muscled guys. The guy I posted above was about as muscular as I want, like these guys: I have lovely video of the first guy doing a posing routine.
  10. Having seen Bangkok traffic at its worst, I would have been leery of making such a trip from the airport. but, your adventurousness served you well. I had a chance to do a nine hour layover in Beijing, which was tempting just to take a bus tour of the city, but again I chickened out. I don't want to miss that flight home.
  11. My subscription to the WSJ expired a month ago, but they are still delivering it. I wrote them and said I would gladly renew for $99 a year. I await their response, since they are giving it to me for free now.
  12. I've never seen such a hairy tiger!
  13. Expressing profound regret at how his dick had led him astray and ruined his career, former General David Petraeus announced today that he would leave his wife, the very wife who has just contacted a divorce lawyer, and enter a Trappist monastery, where he would never speak again. The disgraced CIA chief had admitted that he had considered castration, but, he said, "If I did that then that Broadwell broad would probably have it stuffed and mounted, and I didn't want that." Petraeus becomes the 801st former government official to resign after a sex scandal in the last ten years.Only 2 have opted for castration.

"I think if used too often the over all post count will go down" I'll admit that I hadn't thought of that, but some people will not reply, just say to themselves, "oh, that was nice." Now they have an opportunity to click and say they liked it.Positive feedback we might not otherwise have gotten.
  16. Oh. I thought now that he was roaring to go, he might want to have some sex with you. (Thus the wife, since I know a tattoo'd Thai boy must be a top...
  17. Soon I will be giving this topic a rest, but I still want to express why I am so disappointed in Petraeus. We grow up thinking that there are people who are wise, capable, and can lead us in a world of chaos. Not long after we lose faith in Santa Claus, we learn that our parents are not the strong folks we always thought they were. They are fallible. Then we go to college and learn that teachers aren't so smart either. Then we see a shrink and learn that he has no better insights on life that I do. The same for religious leaders. They are either liars or perverts, it turns out. We think we have strong, capable men (and women) in government. But, the more we get to know them, the more we learn of their vulnerabilities. I want to believe that soldiers have it together, make wise choices to protect us, and only wage fair wars. Shoot that one down. We long since have learned that our presidents are only too human. So, we are left to guide ourselves, sometimes with the love and support of families and friends, venturing into the chaotic world a step at a time. I do still believe that there is a collective body of wisdom, gathered over the ages, that offers guidance on our path. Certain behaviors have been known to be good, others bad. If we try to follow the good, we may come through okay. But, life is random, and we are fallible too. So, we do the best we can. I agree that we shouldn't care whether Petraeus puts his dick, but unfortunately he picked the wrong woman, and it led to his downfall. That's it- blame the woman!

When the "likes this" function began, I didn't quite understand it. Did I click on it since I liked my post, or did I only click on it for others' posts? I now see that it is a way for others to say they liked someone's post without actually using a reply. It's also a bit of a popularity contest and, I think, a motivator. If you get into it, you arguably will be motivated to post stuff that will get some like clicks. That's not so easy as some are pretty tight with their likes. Others will respond that they like, but not click the "Likes This" button. Likes are just a way of knowing some feedback about how interesting others are seeing our posts. Of course, the more that you post, the more likes you are bound to get. I did err the other day in saying that I didn't get many likes. They often are clicked after I have posted and signed off, so I don't see them, but later I see my "likes" count going up. You get 25 likes a day to give out,so no reason not to use them. I am not soliciting likes here; they only have some meaning if they are given when you truly do like something. So I suggest you like a lot, and make several guys happy each day.
  19. "The BF was sick for 5 days and I had to play mama. He is now up and roaring again!" So now you play the wife?
  20. It's late, I'm tired. So why did I have to see this? Pandora's box is becoming Petraeus' box: Top commander linked to Petraeus scandal... http://www.nytimes.com/2012/11/14/us/top-us-commander-in-afghanistan-is-linked-to-petraeus-scandal.html?hp&_r=0

  23. I agree that he is very handsome, but I hated his version of that song. It seemed very artificial.
  24. Good column by Eugene Robinson at WaPo about what we don't know: http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/eugene-robinson-a-spy-tale-with-missing-pieces/2012/11/12/a945d7cc-2d01-11e2-a99d-5c4203af7b7a_story.html?hpid=z2
  25. If it is true, it indicates that Petraeus was pretty sloppy on the secret stuff, not a good role model for a general or a CIA chief. Unrelated photo:
