  1. Thursday should be the day that the aftereffects of a huge solar storm should be felt on planet earth. Scientists say it could give us a massive jolt. Thursday evening might bring massive auroras, especially if there is not a full moon to dilute the color. That could be the good part. The bad part is that GPS devices could be way off. magnetic, radio, and radiation emissions could really foul up. Airline flights could be screwed. Your car GPS might send you 700 miles just to find a post office. Last time this happened, 6 million people in Quebec lost power. Oh, by the way, watch out for falling satellites! Stormy Weather
  2. The Bieber baby has taste, at least in real estate. His new $10 million home, in the Hollywood Hills, (where else?) is stunning. Follow the link and you will see 12 shots of the place, which Ashton Kutcher had been renting for $50,000 a month! No shots of the Bieber bedroom, where he will wank to thoughts of Ashton in that very room...but you know that's why he bought it! Baby's Home
  3. The Locke has left us, or so it seems. Anyone heard from him? Surely he didn't get locked out?

    Well I'm done

My interest in hiring escorts has diminished quite a lot. And, every once in a while, I get tired of being Lucky, but sooner or later I return. Gcursor has proven one thing to me in particular, he has a wild sense of humor. We need that.
  5. I forgot part of the story. Former Oakland A's pitcher Rollie Fingers was at the stadium, selling his autograph. For $20, you got a cheap ball and his personal autograph, signed right in front of you. For $40, you got an official Major League baseball. Guess which one I picked? So, naturally, I checked Rollie's signature on the web, and it was the exact same, even the notation that he entered the Hall Of Fame in 1992: Not sure if Rollie felt it was a comedown selling his signature for $20 minus the cost of the ball, but I can't say that he seemed too happy. I think his career preceded the big bucks careers the kids have now. But, I am glad that I got it.
  6. We can make a group trip out of it! Let's see...$500 divided by 4..that's you, me, lookin, and Lurkerspeaks....equals...Burger King or In and Out...or maybe we could add another guy and go to Five Guys! Oz, you like burgers?
  7. Thanks, lurkerspeaks. I am glad we were able to get together. You will get a full, confidential report on Rio. Perhaps I need to meet up with my friends MsGuy and Lookin to rekindle the warmth!
  8. MsGuy, has it occurred to you that I like telling stories in that format? And it is not against the rules, unless you are trying to build your post count, which I am not, and unless you do 30 posts in less than an hour, which I didn't. I think telling a story like that, where each post is sort of its own episode, is fun, and I think many agree with me! Burma Shave
  9. So, the baseball game was fun, dinner was good, but ultimately at Dick's, I struck out! Add the OUT on your own! And that was my trip to Phoenix, told in less than 30 panels in one hour!
  10. They weren't happy at that, as business was slow!
  11. But, first lurker had a few things to say: (Including telling the other dancers that they were losing money because one of their fellow dancers was nasty to us.)
  12. Upset, lurkerspeaks and I headed for the door:
  13. After her performance, she came up to me and said I has not not better dare do that again!
  14. Both lurkerspeaks and I thought he was inviting us to help him lower his shorts. He wasn't. So when I tried, I
  15. One dancer, actually a pretty good looking guy, should have been wearing this t-shirt:
  16. This fellow wasn't there either, but he could have been, since many of the dancers were white, along with at least one Mexican.
  17. There were no Asian dancers:
  18. We then made the obligatory visit to Dick's Cabaret, where young men have been know to dance nude.
  19. The best view was of the busboy, but I didn't get his picture! He wasn't, however, as cute as this Google found busboy:
  20. So, after some rest, lurkerspeaks was kind enough to take me to dinner at a Phoenix hotspot:
  21. The Mariners were leading 4-0 when most of the experienced players left the field to let the younger ones have some time. Since it was 84, and I was sitting in the sun, ( a good seat though!) I left too. I headed for the parking lot, taking note of some of the other playing fields which arre used for practice.
  22. The Peoria sports Complex seats about 11,000, and was full yesterday for the game, with many patrons using the lawn area for picnics. (The word Peoria there was removed for these games.)
  23. I was also interested in seeing the legendary Japanese player, Ichiro Suzuki, who goes by only the name Ichiro. However, the aging Ichiro was given the day off, so I got but a glimpse of him.
  24. It doesn't really matter who wins the games, especially at the very beginning of the spring training season. I went to see Jesus Montero, the hot young catching prospect traded to Seattle from the New York Yankees.
  25. So yesterday I went to the first spring training game I had ever attended. It was in Phoenix, Arizona, and was played between the Seattle Mariners and the San Diego Padres. The two teams share a spring training facility in Peoria, Arizona.
