As a former(2006) Fusion owner I am happy that so many of you like them. I traded mine in for a 2012 Focus with lots of gadgets and doodads http://www.thecarconnection.com/news/1055332_heavy-metal-2012-ford-focus-titanium-gets-very-very-pricey . The dealership I deal with is great-"no hassles, no gimmicks". BTW the resale value of Fusions is VERY strong . And they will be making good deals on 2012 models as the new(2013) model will have a great looking redesign http://www.thecarcon...ze-family-sedan I looked at the Volt at the LA car show and I was not impressed.Very poor build quality,boring exterior and an even more boring interior. It just did not look like a car that would last 4 years-let alone 10. GM really needed to work harder on this car-but(as usual for GM)they were lazy.

Well I can now report that Six Flags is best for those who like extreme thrill rides. There is NO way I would go on some of these but for young and healthy folks I can see the attraction. However I find the park lacks attractions other than rides which is where DL and US get my nod.

One of my fondest memories is seeing Bab's at the MGM on NYE years ago, An exec friend comped my(third row on a center aisle) seat which would have been totally out of my budget, That was a legendary concert.

RIP Keith Griffith . An outspoken advocate for sexual liberty has passed away at too young of an age. I met him once- a long time ago during a differnt part of my life-and enjoyed talking with him. He was very smart,very witty,and very very randy! He and Scott O'Hara were in the frontlines of defending Queers who did not need the stamp of socity's approval in their days publishing STEAM magazine. I think Disneyland is best for those of us who appriciate theme parks for the parks themselves rather than the rides.However it is a very expensive proposition(a two day park hopper pass is around $200) I do enjoy the rides and really like the new additions to the California Adventure Six Flags is strictly about the rides.These are really thrilling thrill rides-and not for the faint of heart..I found the crowd on weekends to be ultra thuggy and not in a good way. I would be very suprised to find that either would be considered convenient distance from WeHo. Universal is a better deal pricewise and is closerto WeHo than either of the above mentioned parks and it is easily done in a single long day. IMO the best parks of all are on the oposite coast in Orlando- which also has a great bar with strippers!

I am THRILLED some brave souls are trying to end the ritualized mutilation of infant boys. If ANY religion would require the removal of the little finger of all newborn childen the screech of outrage would be deafening, But because this part of the body is considered"unclean" it is deemed allowable. The matter of course non-consensual profit center that circumcission has become in US hospitals is sickening, EVERY male should tell the doctors that they do NOT want their infant mutilated-and that they will file a malpractice suit if it happens.

A very close young friend of mine has let it slip that he considers himself Bisexual. I was a bit suprised by this and asked if he had experienced any sexual encounters with guys-to which he answerd no, Now he did say he has/does masturbated while looking at gay porn sometimes and listed a number of fellas he found attractive(I shocked him by telling him I had met almost all the guys he listed-now he wants to go to some of the :industry parties I attend) and it all pretty much centered around his finding these fellas reaching climax as the big turn on I told him I did not know if he was actually Bi or was just a horny little pervert (he knew I was not serious) but if he did want to talk about it more I would be there fore him. I take a LOT of "foodporn" pictures

A friend of mine on FaceBook has taken to posting pictures of himself taken during his younger days. This is making me nostalgic since I was crushing on him big time back then. A bit of history,,,, I moved to the Los Angeles area in 1995 and soon became a regular at Hunters and Numbers. I would see this guy in those places but did not connect with him for about five years. I then started"helping"him out financially but did not have sex with him despite the fact that he was totally "my cuppa". A few years later I was visiting the city he had relocated to and took him to dinner. I revealed my past feelings o him and my dissapointment that we had never fooled around, He kindly offered to help me fill in that hole so to speak, Forward to the present,,, We are still friends(on Facebook and in real life) and see each other occasionally, He has a partner now and we no longer fool around. PARKING I will let my fellow MERmen in on my secret parking spot, There is an underground garage beneath the Tender Greens on SMB (Hancock and SMB)that I use quite frequently. It is secure and well lit and cheaper/safer than the open lots behind the bars. $7 flat rate after 6 p.m.
