I think its about authenticity. When you are a regular contributor on a site, you kinda develop a kinship with the others there. Kinda like a sisterhood. But when one of the sisters is continually putting you down and calling you a "basic bitch" compared to them, it is IRRITATING. There is no need for that, but it was kind of what the situation was with the "subject"... He can be whomever he chooses to be, but must always treat others with respect. Respect is not a word HE understands. Its really not about the shit he posts, its the manner in which he posts it, FOR ME.... Daddy is NOT stupid, and I dont think he would continue the site if it werent profitable for HIM in some way.... I believe he gets money from advertisers, as I dont think contributing members bring in ENOUGH $ to sustain the site. but every dollar helps, and he doesnt want to jeopardize those "coins"... Its his choice to have and keep the site, so HE alone should fund it IMHO. But for those who appreciate whatever it is that they get from it, it is their perrogative to give him a boost. But if how you are treated on the site is based on your charitable contribution, that's a site I have NO use for.

Grandma needs to keep up with Oz's fabulous life. So when the weekend comes, I enjoy an elegant brunch and a COCK-tail... So I throw on one of my designer house coats from Dress Barn and velcro orthopedic pumps and head to one of the local Soup kitchens, where I know brunch will be served hot and fresh... The dedicated cooks slave in the kitchen opening all those unmarked cans to prepare our culinary surprises. The anticipation on what I will receive is unbearable. I need to take out my inhaler and have a puff... I love fresh flowers so I always pickup some from someones window box I pass on the way. It makes a lovely addition to the table. Taking a seat amongst a new group of strangers, most of whom dont even know where they are is uplifting, because we all share one common goal.... the FREE meal.... As the meal is served we realize we are truly blessed for our suckulent bounty, served on glistening white paper plates with plastic utensils.... Good food, good people....this is the LIFE !

For those of you tired of the usual side dishes, and want something different, quick , easy and Healthy, how's about Sweet potato hash browns with Honey crisp apples and raisins? It's light, fresh, sweet and Great with many diff proteins. Depending on how many people you are serving: a few large Yams, peeled and cut into bite size pieces a few Pink Lady Honey crisp apples peeled and cut into bite sized pieces. 1/2 raisins 2 tablespoons oil, heated. I par cook the yam pieces in the microwave for about 3 minutes, then transfer them to the HOT oil in the pan with the raisins, Cook until they start becoming tender, then dump in the apples... Sautee all until they are cooked to a nice toasty color and a knife slides in easily. Be sure not to get them to a "mushy" state. The potatoes should remain firm. Be creative and serve with your favorite chicken , beef pork, or fish...
