  1. I can understand Americans and any one else love more Rio over Bahia. I was not making that comparison, please reread my post. I do not understand how anyone can prefer Porto Alegre and Rio Grande so Sul (an area I have been to) over Salvador and Bahia (an area I have heard of). The only explanation that makes sense so far (may be someone else can have a different theory) is the one brought by @SolaceSoul.
  2. Ayayayay, ir was my question in another thread what triggered Tomcal to start this one. I feel guilty. I do not think any should get defensive, but from my perspective (I have never been northern of São Paulo) SolaceSouls does have a point. Why would American tourists prefer Porto Alegre over Bahia? Bahia is closer to the States, it has better beaches, it has a more "exotic" culture, it is probably cheaper, so why?
  3. Muito Obrigado for that question/suggestion! I always wonder why Bahia is never a topic when discussing Brazilian destinations. It is even closer to the States than all the other cities we are drilling about. Why is it that São Salvador does not seem to be so appealing? I am considering a trip for next Christmas vacation, I am indecisive between Mexico and Brazil. If I go for Brazil, of course I would go to Rio, bur rather than short escapades to the South, I would rather explore Abrobrazil. But my apologies, I do not want to kidnap the thread. I will open my own in the near future. Let's leave São Salvador de Bahia as an option for @riostatic.
  4. As promised, here you have the full review of my meeting with Forbidden Apple that I reported earlier in this thread. You can see also a gif in the Porno folder and a few pictures in the escorts reviews folder. Gracias!
  5. Two days in a raw with no problems! I am also back to the Clubs! Thank you @TotallyOz & (Thai?) nerds team!
  6. You may disagree, @AdamSmith, but I think the events are proving my point. We just ride of a corrupt administrator who is going to be replaced for probably another corrupt administrator, while the deplorable environmental policies continue to be the same, or even worse. I told you.
  7. Both Villages were my hunting field from 1994 to 2000. I witnessed Giuliani's destruction and hated him. I was not into street trade, but clubbing, bars, and street cruising. I would have taken pictures of how the Bijou Theater was being stripped year after year of some feature, but well, this is before smart phones. Those were my Golden Years. Damn, I was good at cruising.
  8. Damn.A whole bar! I just had a religious crisis that quickly turned into epiphany. I am from now on worshipping a Holly Trinity: @Tomcal from South of Rio Grande; @TotallyOz from South Asia, and @AdamSmith from NC Street Trade
  9. I love and agree on your first paragraph. One of the best things of these forums is embracing and celebrating our differences, even if sometimes we fail. I strongly disagree with your closing. It sounds stigmatizing. I do not think we are born with a work ethics, it depends on the interaction between our genetic heritage and our nurturing environment. Even given that, I strongly believe people can change. It is not easy, but it is not impossible.
  10. Not really. If the same situation would have happened in an opposite ideological landscape, I would have probably defended him staying in office. I do not like arguments that later on can be turned against my side by accusing us of having a double standard. If I am President, and have a secretary who effectively manage my environmental protection policies protecting national parks and there areas, holding accountable polluting agents, promoting renewable energy sources, etc, etc., I would probably be ore lenient with his unethical practices. I am not saying I would be OK, but my focus is always on the policies rather than int he behaviors. I would support any administrative and judicial investigations of his misbehaviors, I would support any proper accountabilities, I would publicly and privately confront him, but I would keep him in office as long as possible. That is why I am bitterly glad he is out.
  11. It is good news but I would have prefer an attack on him more centered on his policies and less on his unethical behavior.
  12. I just tried it once again. It seems to fix one of the issues: when I sign uo through the main website and then go to the forums, I am not logged out from the forums home page, which does happen when I do not sign up in the main website. However, the new issue remains. When I click in the Clubs menu, I am still logged in. As soon as I click in the Mexico/Brazil club, poom back to be logged out.
  13. I just tried that and the problem remained. I have bookmarked the forums, but I did tried logging in through the main website instead, unsuccessfully. I can try it again, and it may work. Part of the problem is that it is not consistent. There are days where the navigation is spotless and then there are days like the last days.
  14. "There is one thing sadder than the guys who think that our escorts are with us just because they love us: the guys who need to remind us that the boys are our for pay lovers when we are celebrating our whores and our relationships with them in an escorts forum." Taken from the Lost Gospels found under the Holly Bed of Our Messiah
  15. This is a new variation of the same problem. Until yesterday afternoon I was able to access the Clubs section. Starting yesterday night, every time I try to access that page I am logged out and cannot access the club I am a member of.
  16. Thanks, I think you are saying the same that @Suckrates before you. It is a way to do around the problem, yes. However, I think I prefer the previous suggestions. I was just not used to writing long posts in the forums until I started my Argentina traveling log, I will start treating those post as the posts in my blog, and draft them previously in a word processor like Pages.
  17. OH MY DIVINE TOMCAL, SAVE ME! Yes, indeed I am the needy and ridiculous here.
  18. No, my friend. I was celebrating Tomcal when you could not deal with it and came to spread your disagreement. Who is the one who cannot cope with others' different point of view? And when you are called out, it is always the others. As I said, yes sure. You are right.
  19. Ja! So "we" are the ones who cannot deal with someone not sharing our views. Yes, sure.
  20. No, do not tell me there is money involved! Oh my God! Who would have told! I though it was @tomcal Divine Power!
  21. Thanks, I will start doing that, or Pages, as I down I write for the blog.
  22. So the problem is "idolization"? Really? You are taking literally my jokes? Call it whatever you want to, but Tomcal's skills are out of debate, I think. If you think you can match what he does, I add you to the altar. Tomcal protect us!
  23. He stays as my Messiah, I do not care about your negativity and lack of sense of humor, disguised as bitter realism.
  24. I am not kidding when I am declaring @tomcal my Messiah. If you ever start a workshop on how to collect, entertain, and keep so many hotties together, I am signing up the first. Tomcal University.
  25. Yeah, unfortunately I have never met that beauty. I must have picked a random gif file to decorate my blog. Sorry to disappoint you.
