What is the men4porn.com site?
It's featured on rent.men and appears to me to be a place where their providers can post free videos of themselves in action. I only looked at a few: short, amateurish, and maybe a teaser for onlyfans or some similar site. Or maybe it's a mini-Pornhub.

Michael Bloomberg Apologizes for Stop-and-Frisk: ‘I Was Wrong’
I normally applaud public apologies since they take a lot of courage, but this one is too little, too late, and reeks of insincerity.

In Boston, if you aren't using the F word, you aren't speaking proper English.

Avengers Infinity War
I think the action choreography is the main draw here. If it's good enough, it makes me forgive the other weaknesses.

Science fiction writer Harlan Ellison dies aged 84
Recently re-watched "The City on the Edge of Forever." I knew it was by Ellison by just now found he hated the end result. Oh well. https://www.vox.com/culture/2018/6/29/17518928/harlan-ellison-star-trek-grudge-science-fiction-rip
- "God's Own Country," Terrific film for gay viewers.

My Own Private Idaho: A Boytoy Review
*spoiler* I can never forget the ending, when River's so totally down & out physically and emotionally, lying on the side of a road, and someone shows up to steal his shoes/boots (forget which) and leave him there.

The New Star Wars Movie Looks Good!
I'm having trouble waiting until Xmas, but I'll hold on somehow. We were left hanging in the last one about how no friends or allies showed up to save them when they put out a call for help, so I'm wondering if the rebel fleet only consists of 1 ship now?

‘Bill Maher Has No Tears For David Koch: “I’m Glad He’s Dead And I Hope The End Was Painful”
I am always left wondering: "How much of what Bill Maher says, and how he says it, is really a reflection of his thinking, and how much of it is a shock jock trying to boost his ratings?" I lean toward Option B.

And Then There Is Beto
Note on Beto: he's out of the race now, and I never quite understood his appeal. But, a friend in Texas was very pro-Beto, saying she'd seen him at a town hall meeting while running against Ted Cruz, and his charisma filled the room and energized people. Given his extensive travel across Texas doing those town halls, that could explain his appeal, but it didn't come across in the national media, debates, etc, or it didn't for me, anyway.

And Then There Is Beto
The phenomenon of Latinos supporting Republicans when that party is depicting them as criminal immigrants stealing jobs from (implied: "white") Americans is puzzling to me too. While I'm no expert on Latin America, and I know it's not a monolith, from what I've gleaned, there is a distrust of government + social conservatism among Latinos in the US, both immigrants and born here, which makes them lean Republican. Another factor may be that the GOP is pro-patriarchy, also appealing to social conservatives. And I continue to read that people voting against their personal and community interests, baffling as it is, has a very long history. People tend to make decisions based on emotions first, then back them up with reasons later, rather than the reverse. So, if a candidate makes you feel good, they get your vote.

I just wish Duckduckgo was more accurate like Google is. Still, privacy wins out.
