  1. Hey, just say this post for the first time now. May I suggest searching the Colombia form for "Bogota" https://www.gayguides.com/forum/101-gay-colombia/ You have already found the business listings, but plenty of members have shared their Bogotá experiences, far beyond the mandatory night out at Theatrón. Happy hunting.
  2. Just updating this with latest convo with @Latbear4blk. He noted that there is now security stationed outside the entrance door, which is new to me (did not drop by on my August trip). Also the meetings at all arranged in advance again, don't both dropping by as there will almost certainly be no working boys hanging around. The brothel era ended as abruptly as it re-started. As noted in his post here the Sunday brunches I heard about at the start of the year are also not happening. So you can organize a "date" to take place here, or wait for one of the finca weekends Fercho still organizes. I have few ideas why this changed, but as @neyger noted in his post here the plaza's seem increasingly interested in any independent businesses. Will be curious to hear thoughts from paisa friends how things are shaping up for 2026.
  3. The only drama that interests me in Colombia is my daily intake of telenovelas. But will be in town from January to end of March, exploring options now for la Semana Santa.
  4. I agree with the poster's question "este sitio ya lleva 29 años?". Bueno, hay que aprovechar. Have a good time!
  5. While the back end story is different this time, it sounds like this one has already reached its logical conclusion. Most of that sounds very familiar to me, so you prolly dodged a bullet, although if he sticks to his standard plan, you are about to get thousands of text messages until you hit the block button. Not knowing El Poblado does not really surprise me, the Miguel I met preferred Provenza (shocking, I know) and was much more comfortable closer to home in Manrique where he lives. If the same guy, you know that he is 100% paisa certified so using cariño, corazón, querido, mi rey, or mor really isn't that unusual, even with someone he has just met. Flirting is the sport of choice in Medellín, so I would not read too much into it.
  6. Even if you don't want a full steak dinner, they have an excellent selection of Argentinian wines, beyond the usual labels of Malbecs. I will stop in for wine and tapas on the patio, it is on the busiest pedestrian street in Manila so excellent people watching.
  7. Excellent suggestions. There is an Argentinian steak house in Manila named Malevo (Cra. 43E #11A - 20) that is really good, although the prices keep rising. You will hear the accent of the waiters - the owner is from Argentina and most of the staff are friends and family who come to work and get to know Medellín. And there is a couple of ex-New Yorkers that have opened Otro Bagel (Cra. 43F #12-27) that serves decent NY-style bagels with all the schmear (cream cheese), lox and capers you can manage.
  8. Responded.
  9. A quick scan and nope, not a one. I recognize a couple from Grindr since I stay in Belén where they are located. But I have zero notes here. But seeing "pasarla una chimba" sure takes me back to Medellîn.
  10. You will greatly enjoy the newest waiter at Donde Aquellos with the curly hair and the phattest ass you will lay eyes on this year. Also if your new friend is named Miguel Angel, my recommendation is to stay away. He has a tattoo where his hand is in that photo. Just my two cents.
  11. ¡Chanclas fuera de la casa! It really is the absolute worst and culturally offensive, the footwear version of wearing your dressing robe to the corner store.
  12. Mathias is part of the elite circuit in Medallo, works as a trainer at the Bodytech on Avenida Colombia, also has a smoking hot boyfriend. He preys on foreigners who don't know better that those prices are insane.
  13. Update: The club has done a mini-renovation, updating some of the installations and adding a stage area outdoors. The have also begun bringing in hosts ("anfitriones") on weekends to keep the party and the sex going.
  14. Buen viaje parcero. Will ask around what is currently happening. The famous alumbrados which are very nearby to your location should light up the week of Noche de la velitas, the theme this year is natural wonders of Colombia, no idea if that includes neas or guapitos. Que la pases súper!
  15. As my Colombian brothers snd sisters would say “marica yaaaa” 🤣
  16. @frazzle Any chance you are hearing chatter about this? Entry refusal made against 5 United States and 1 Mexican citizen who were all refused entry due to open international investigation into their previous travel and history of sex tourism in Medellin? This is a news story posted on October 13, but refers to "recent" arrests. Sorry the video is in Spanish only - you can turn on subtitles as well. Basically these were known men with history in the region and there was enough proof that they were traveling to engage in sexual exploitation and pedophilia. Therefore these men were detained and returned home. Not sure why anyone needs an suitcase filled with sex toys, but not here to judge.
  17. This is the listing for Hotel Roma where Fercho's operates. That includes links to Google Maps and the hotel website.
  18. Indeed. He has a couple of guys currently that are stunners because I really think they have no idea how hot they are: Christian, the construction worker who looks like he could lift a house, and Mario, the former marine from Cartagena with the million dollar smile both fit the bill in my opinion.
  19. @vinapu thanks for the report and sharing these excellent photos. Brings back so many memories of time spent in La Havana and exploring the many barrios of the city. ¡Muchas gracias!
  20. Es con mucho gusto. A few attendees had private rooms, so I would suspect those were regulars with the foresight to organize that in advance. Everyone else got the dormitory rooms. Which is also where the modelos sleep as well if you see that as a plus. In the house, there will be a set up with rooms reserved for sex sessions, with attendants making sure clean up happens and directing each new pairing to an available room. But a few guests had private rooms inside, so worth inquiring about when you book. They do provide transportation back to the city, generally leaving after the dinner service on first day. So you don't have to do the overnight if you just want to feel it out. Grabbing a taxi - Uber - Indriver back to the city is also an option, as they tend to use popular fincas in the Copacabana region (20 minutes north of Bello). If I were to partake again, I would definitely organize my own transportation just for the convenience. There's plenty of time to meet the other punters around the pool once you get there. Final note -- Fercho (Freddy -- and yes, I know that is not Fernando as one might expect) considers himself quite the cook, so dinner and breakfast are pretty elaborate spreads with a ton of local classic dishes. He also occasionally does a brunch service at Hotel Roma on Sundays that can be a lot of fun as well.
  21. I have, and your impression is correct. The "cupo" covers the transportation, food and overnight accommodations -- when offered in the package. All drinks are extra, as are the viagra, condoms and lube for sale. Bring your own supply. The boys will ask for a "propina" which you need to agree upon in advance. Keep in mind that they are paying a portion of that fee back to Freddy in exchange for the chance to have multiple encounters and earn more cash. Expect to be agree on fees around 50-60K each time. My two cents, but I would not do the overnight experience again. Yes, there are boys around and you can fuck outdoors if that is your thing (this is discouraged during the day since the finca may not have complete privacy) but as the day goes on, and the drinks and drugs kick in, it can get pretty sloppy, which is really not my thing. Happier to sleep in my own bed. EDIT: The next finca weekend happens Oct 25-26 if anyone is around. The facility looks especially nice and very private.
  22. I think the bigger story is the lack of border agents in Rionegro airport (that serves Medellín). The lines at customs can take hours waiting to be processed as a foreign visitor. In Bogotá I can usually get through customs in 20 minutes. There are flights to Medelllín basically every 40 minutes starting at 430am There have been multiple arrests where children were being held captive for prostitution with foreigners, most recently at a smaller hotel in El Poblado in May 2024. The Colombian government is rightfully very concerned about becoming a sex tourism destination and continue to do more surveillance in areas popular with tourists. The cameras you see on every street corner in El Poblado? Those are just barely one year old. FWIW According to the alcaldía, 57% of foreign travelers arriving to the city are single males, average age of 37.7 years. Travelers from the USA made up the largest group, at around 42% of all visitors to the city.
  23. Que pena contigo 😩 jeje On a serious note, it’s not going to be everyone’s cup of tea, but variety is the spice of life. I appreciate that Fercho continues to bring his service to the city. Sure, the boys can be hit or miss, but that’s a reflection of how much the city has changed in the past 5 years. There are several escort wrangler services like Ferchos, he is just the most organized (that I am aware of currently). Abrazos
  24. Since someone asked, the neighbouhood is walkable and safe if you stay along the main Avenida Oriental. That area is mostly medical offices and clinical services. If you want to cut through La Candelaria (area south of Oriental) that is your business but don't blame me if you run into problems. Prado metro station is also very close by -- about an 8 minute walk away.
  25. This has come up in direct messages with several members, so wanted to update this information. The Hotel Roma is a long-standing gay-operated hotel just north of the Centro region in Medellín. Address: Carrera 50c # 60-13, La Candelaria, Medellín WhatsApp: They post notices regularly and announce any finca events here +57 321 8087174 The operator of Fercho's Amigos|Masajes has been hosting from this location regularly now for the past 20 months. It is more in the brothel style of the original Fercho's. They prefer that you call ahead to "book" your time, but if you show up they will very likely allow you to enter, so long as they in service. Keep in mind there are "days off" and Colombians enjoy a staggering number of holidays -- 18 national holidays plus 3 unique to Antioquía each year. You can then have a drink outside on the patio and "meet" the boys available before heading to a room. I have heard several costs floated around, suggesting that Freddy is very much engaging in gringo pricing. You have been warned. It should absolutely not cost more than 150.000COP for the escort and the room use. Negotiate the price (down) accordingly. I have also heard complaints that Freddy is asking for a 50.000COP deposit before arriving to "hold" your place. While I have zero concerns about trusting this business, it will be virtually impossible for a foreigner to conduct an e-transfer to a Colombian bank account. Remind Freddy of this, as he is well aware of this issue. What I would recommend instead is making yourself memorable by being (1) extremely polite, (2) generous with a tip to the house and to the escort, (3) being very social and make a point of finding Freddy and shaking his hand upon arrival. These actions go a very long way in paisa culture and Freddy will remember this upon your return visit. If you enjoy the experience, leave 50.000COP with Freddy (about $12.75USD at current exchange) as your deposit for your return.
