Day 17   Going home
After JW collected his bounty and left I spruced myself and went for last time this trip to Foodland to have my final breakfast. In the supermarket I bought some coffee I liked to take home then went to the room to pack   and go. BTS  / ARL combination to the airport, formalities were breeze , and only thing left was to wait for my plane to take off at scheduled 12.40 p.m. .
When on the train  I realized that even if that trip was bordering on fabulous I’m quite content it’s over and I’m going home already.
 Only dark clouds were outside as substantial mid-day storm started with heavy rain and multiple lightnings. Direct result of that was announcement that  flight to Taipei will depart later then scheduled and passengers connecting there to few selected destinations, including mine  are asked to form the line at designated place.
 As result of mechanical problem our aircraft returned bit late from previous destination and couldn’t land  because of that mid-day storm – regulations sensibly prohibit people working outside in case of active lightening’s we were explained. So about 3 dozen of us  were informed that airline is looking at alternative solution of getting us home . Our aircraft departed but without us since we did not have a chance to catch our connecting flight.
 After about 1.5 hour of suspension we were escorted to Thai’s Royal Orchid Lounge , my first even visit in such a place. Resigned to my fate  I even liked it, comfortable  chairs, unlimited food , both hot and cold dishes, showers, truly classy waiting room . It was only one thing I did not like and it was getting more annoying by the hour – temperature was set waaay too low to my liking, I had light jacket and sweater  but truly I don’t travel to Thailand in August  to get frozen – I have plenty of it at home for quite a few months year after year.
 Surely fact that I helped myself with no less then three servings of Haagen Dazs ice cream did not help. Anyways somehow I survived. In the evening we were given boarding passes for 22.30 flight to Seoul and from there  for flight home next morning.
Of course I couldn’t dream about picking a seat and was given  dreaded middle seat for that 7 hrs.  flight but surprisingly it worked for me well . I fell asleep before even plane took off and was woken up when they started serving morning snack. Arrived quite rested.
 Incheon is fabulous  airport and when I spotted showers  I decided to indulge for  some 5$ ( 7000 won for transit passengers) and actually took one, after all it was already 24 hrs. since I had previous shower in the hotel.
 Second leg was kind of daytime flight so spent partially reading , partially sleeping and I arrived home in one big piece , only 12 hours later than originally scheduled closing books on my 44th trip to Thailand.

Day 16,
MIFF went home skipping on breakfast but I ordered their breakfast plate , whole thing was prepared right in front of me . 200 baht, tea or coffee extra. Tasty and well presented. Test run of Norn   Café and Stay went very well and definitely is on my list  of places to return to in the future.
Room spacious and bed comfortable, Silom traffic did not bother or affect me at all. Today I’m trying another new place – Arni Hexa in soi Wat Hualampong.. after checking out at 12 I just walked out there.

I walked there but unfortunately room was not ready so I decided  to drop my luggage at reception and do some touristy stuff . First short walk to Wat Hualampong itself. It’s so close to Silom area but I suspect most of us rarely visit there .  From there I went to check Hualampong station itself , ever railways lover I decided to see Bangkok from track level and took 3 baht, 30 minutes ride to Hua Mak train station. Tracks are right under familiar ARL line but  city looks very  different  from train perspective.
Plan was to return by ARL  but I noticed there’s return train to Hualampong if literally few minutes so invested another 3 baht and boarded train in other direction. Cheap and interesting fun trip. By time I returned to hotel I had room ready for me. Not  very spacious but smelling all new , bed comfortable. In meantime  I felt I need to hug some body mass today so contacted Baul on Grindr and he had time for massage session at 4.30.
On the dot he arrived and we had great time again although today he seemed to be busier than last week and stuck to his scheduled time. Business is business.
At 8 pm  to Midnight for a drink with Alex and Lao waiter, P seems to have day off today. Next step was Banana club, I had a beer with one of their barker outside while people watching , then went inside to   see a bit of their non-stop show. At 10.30 to Jupiter, JW spotted me instantly but told me he will join me after the show which was fully expected. Distributed few tips to smiling guys during walkabout , watched  show and admired their guys as always. This trip I visited Jupiter more times that on   last few trips together. I’m warming up to their offer quite fast.
After show JW and me went to  Sunrise Tacos in the corner to eat something and them walked  through Patpong 1 to hotel. Another  hunky hunk today, my last this trip. I liked our session although not as much as previous one last week. Lack of novelty  value or what?  .
 JW asked to leave at 6.30 claiming having  some morning chores to  do and I did not protest much.
I guess I’m already in ‘ return home ‘ mood
 

Day 15
 In the room announcement – my guy can stay only till 3 as he has visa run to do . Of well, I made sure we utilized whatever time we had and replaced LT tip with ST one. He did not blink an eye.
I’m pretty sure he did not made it up because in the evening he actually sent me a message ‘ I’m back already ‘ fully knowing I’m in Bangkok and won’t be back in Pattaya this trip.
At least I could catch few hours of good sleep. , Waked up at 8 but somehow after sprucing myself up I was not in rush to go for breakfast lazing  in the room instead. I’m very sure it was Guardian Angel who hold me back from going down. When eventually went there  , room was pretty full but I spotted empty table in the corner so marched there.
 
At the table beside there was sitting farang  / Thai couple and when passed by them bespectacled Thai smiled at be broadly. I smile at people so get smiles back often but few minutes later he came to my table and asked “do you remember me?”, pulled his phone and on it picture of both of us together on stairs inside long gone BBB Inn on Rama 4 .
  O my Almighty God!!! Of course I recalled him immediately, T .!. What a memory . It must be at least 7 or 8 years thought I when we saw each other. ( Upon return home I checked and last time we saw each other was in Dec 2016, 9 ½ years ago.) .He was my regular in 2014-2016 and actually first time we met was in long gone Banana massage in Sukhumvit soi 5. I still remember his electrifying look when we met first time.
 Now happily married to his companion , Dane and living there. Glad to see both of them happy , not to mention good looking both . His husband took  our picture together  as eternal souvenir of such pleasant and totally unexpected meeting. Late breakfast in hotel I spent only 2 nights ! What probability of meetup like that is? . I asked for permission to hug T, husband said ‘ of course “  so for old times sake we hugged till next time, who knows where and when.
Even now, two weeks later I smile at recollection, one of those unexpected pleasures in life ! It needs to be said that he did not change at all , other than wearing glasses ,  in all those years.
 I returned to the room, packed  what I had and at 11.40  went to Jomtien bus station  to catch my noon but to Swampy. I utilized my time to catch up with forum as well as folks on Line and WhatsApp .
On my way  a thought actually crossed my mind  , if that would be my trip to the airport in order to fly  home already , I could live with that.
 At 1.50 pm. we were at the airport , train and BTS to NORN café beside Silom soi 10.
I made separate thread about that addition to Silom sleeping scene  and of course as soon as I settled there I made resolve to test  their rule about no overnight guests allowed.

After settling in I went to Foodland  to eat something and when I was leaving I met guy I have my designs on for quite a while. As he initiated hug , I have right to suspect , he may not be entirely against seeing me as well. I should ask him about tonight but somehow  I did not but at least I told him  ‘ see you in your bar later on’ earning broad and knowing smile. Let call him MIFF (  Met In Front of Foodland )
At 8 I went to Midnight bar , P was there but seemed bit unhappy so I bought him a drink and let  him  to demolish me in some board game  I had no idea of what rules of are.
 Then returned to hotel as I realized I don’t have much cash on me. At 10 went to pick up MIFF who suggested we go to Jupiter to see the show.  Who I’m to say no ?
 It was not too full, during walkabout more boys than spectators  but closer  to the show start bar filled up solidly . I start looking familiar there as few boys smiled at me, what’s more important , those were boys I’d like to get smile from . Yahooo !. One of them , JW from day 5 even stopped by to say hallo  which opportunity I used to ask him about tomorrow night . Reserved for me he said. 
No I was not acting assholishly – MIFF at the moment went to the washroom upstairs so I was sitting alone.
 In the room some steam release, then quiet night and quite  an action in the morning . So my 2nd last night finished in style. I walked him down . there was somebody already behind the counter  but no, did not blink an eye seeing I’m not exactly alone.

Day 11
At 10 am D decided to go home to refresh and promised to be back at 11. 50 with car, like he expressed “  he has access to”. I in meantime packed up as upon return I will be switching to Sun and Moon hotel  , right beside Space Hair Bar. Indeed  on the dot D arrived , I took my luggage and we went to Space bar to pick up our companions who were ready . D told me he contacted them already earlier about timing
Nice 1 hr drive and there , being 1 p.m. boys  decided to have a lunch. Boys decided , farang paid as directed for various super exotic goodies on the local market, ants in some sirup, bees larvae in honey comb , you name it . There was even something palatable for me , we found some place to spread out with all those goodies , lady brought some drinks  and it was quite fun to see what they eat and how. It needs to be said  that  even if there was 4 of them they did not forgot about me and tried to keep me in the loop of their conversation so I did not feel left out. 
  After the feast off we went to do some sightseeing. Sights are several stupas on small mountain range. Of course they expressed concern if I will be able to scale such a mountain  . I  just played stupid and let them have  it and soon they learned that old troll walks up quite well. On top it was them who suggested  we take a rest , not me , lol.  Not as monumental like Angkor but nevertheless quite interesting monuments in nice , mountain setting.  Views of countryside  were vast and panoramic all the way to distant but still visible capital.
Timing was perfect as when we  done and ready to go, light rain started. On the way back I tipped all three boys  for bearing with me.  Judging by reaction they did not expect it so we both were pleased.
We left guys at Space Bar and  D suggested we visit Aeon Mall because he wants to show me something. I know what it will be as he mentioned it  when we were parting ways in January but I played stupid which was not particularly difficult. 
Something was of course MY Burberry perfume. He even modestly suggested that he has 10 % discount in that store so if I will be kind to buy those for him I can save  that sum. Ever rude I remarked that if I don’t buy I will save whole 100 % , not just 10 % but at the same breath I said ‘Ok , which one you want ? “  as there were 3 , each bit different. Squeak of happiness was what followed and  soon he was proud bearer of  such useless thing. But what do I know. He deserved it as it needs to be admitted he is trying hard to make sure I’m happy.
Then we went to some pizza place and there he got a phone call , face changed and I knew something is not right. It was cousin or sister calling that mother , who is in hospital , is not feeling well and if he wants to see her still alive he better  rushes up ASAP, the latest tomorrow morning .
 We came to Sun and Moon and  checked in  but  in the room  it was obvious neither of us is in the mood  for anything steamy so he got his tip for  our time together and I let him go.
I was surprised  by room at hotel because based on picture I suspected it will be small while in reality it was room of
size !   Thank you Enchanted Elixir for recommending me that hotel.
At 10pm I went down to Space bar . In contrast with yesterday it was quite busy and almost full.
There was some local who seemed fun  but I was warned by one of guys to be careful as apparently as he gets more drunk he tends to lose control  and soon indeed he slammed  his fist against the table , fortunately guys he was with hauled him to  tuk-tuk outside , disarming situation.  Reminds us that both working in bar and patronizing it is  not always such appealing option .
 I left at 2.30 , not that I had long way to the room. At 3 I was expecting Grindr guest who indeed showed on time , even calling me  15 minutes earlier that he is on the way.
 
 

Day 10
Not that I had much to pack.
 At 8.30 I was on BTS already on my way to Swampy.
At some point of yesterday I did two important tasks – called on Line  boy D with news of my arrival today and  filled Cambodian e-arrival report. This time I did not apply for visa in advance, rather decided to do it on arrival there. Reason was very technical. When applying for  e-visa at home  and uploading scan of my passport , their system  wrongly recognized my country of birth. I tried 3 times with the same result.  There was no option to correct  that wrong reading so I did not want any trouble and abandoned process.
D was quite surprised I’m coming but  sounded very happy as well. Promised to let him know when I settle in the hotel.
Considering  bit hostility between Thailand and Cambodia at the moment  I was surprised plane was positively full.
Whole  thing weas uneventful, getting visa on arrival was breeze , just slide od passport through machine  done by one guy , next one cashed mu 30$   fee and third guy have me back my passport along with  piece of paper  stating that’s visa. No photo, no stamp in passport.   I declined several offers to take me to the city for 10$ and opted for an airport bus. 1500 riels fee , no change provided so you must have exact change . In about 50 minutes I alighted in front of  train station and from there took tuk-tuk to my hotel Lavanya  on street 136.
I  booked corner suite room but it was not what I was given , since it’s only 1 night and receptionist was handsome I decided not to create any fuss about it. Called D I’m in the room and asked him to came in 2 hrs. I meantime I went to eat something as well as exchange some money. I prefer to deal in riels when comes to small purchases  , saving dollars for bigger ticket items . During my walk I got caught by the storm and heavy rain with wind strong enough to destroy my umbrella so arrived in hotel pretty soaked. To my surprise D was already waiting for me in the lobby  so off we went  upstairs to celebrate reunion.  He suggested tomorrow we make trip to old Cambodian capital UDONG , about 1 hr drive from  capital. I enthusiastically  endorsed idea.
 For tonight  I proposed we go to Space Bar , surprisingly he never heard about that bar  but agreed. So around 11 pm. We walked there . It was not busy , only 3 other clients and total of 5 boys . My midnight only boys and two of us left and , oiled by few rounds of drinks I purchased we had tons of quite progressive fun. D clearly liked it and so did I.
 Hearing about Udong trip three of boys expressed an interest in joining us  and D agreed . At 1.30 am I tipped boys modestly and we walked to hotel to continue  peruse stamps from collection.

Day 9
 After he left   I went to Foodland to say my good byes to Jason who is flying home at noon today.
Thank you my friend for making an effort to join us in Bangkok over weekend !
Rest of morning spent  resting in the room . At 2 pm I decided to try Loveboy massage in Saphan Kwai area so took BTS there. I had boy in mind but unfortunately he was available only  after 6 pm when I had another plan already . There were few boys on the display but none really made my heart beat faster so I returned to Foodland Patpong to console myself with chicken rice soup for 62 baht.
Funny thing about Loveboy, I have good, experienced friend who swears by them and says he is almost never disappointed. I wonder what I’m doing wrong because  for the hell of me I seriously can’t say the same. My last 5 visits there it was always some disappointing component. But I trust his judgment so will keep trying in the future as long as it be that future, lol.
At Foodland spoon joined me for gossip, err.. exchanging current information. After that I decided to go to Senso as last few trips I missed them. It was around 4 pm, few handsome and well built guys there as usual , Also as usual I picked one with broadest smile directed at me  and off we went for 1 hr. massage. Boy was very nice , massage was quite energetic but I guess we lacked chemistry  or he read me wrongly.
Anyways in 50 minutes  it was over, we showered together and downstairs I paid all included price of 3100 ( 1.5 hr costs 3600 ) . Despite overall good impression,  I left having my doubts if my money were really spent that wisely on that adventure. Definitely in the past I had better walk out of the place although  while typing this I realized it was Sunday and in  quite a few shops and also bars , Sunday is not a best day to indulge in carnal pleasures.
 At 8pm. To Midnight bar where P made me playing with him in some board game I had no idea what rules are so he bit me severely few rounds and then in bout of mercy suggested we stop. But got his drink and tip so all good. Spoon and YT messaged me they are dining in some Chinese place  across the street from East Planet hotel so I rushed there to treat myself with their version of my signature dish – duck leg. That boasted my fragile ego as while tasty , they did not beat me to it.
 Next stop – Hot Male. Just spoon and me as YT went to hunt somewhere else . Only 3-4 customers but they still made a show for us. Why they are so empty I will never understand as I find their guys quite attractive and bar friendly. I was nicely surprised that one of boys , veteran of 2 if not 3 offs looks much more manly than before. He told me he is going to gym daily and it really showed.
Then we moved to Big Boys arriving exactly when show started . quite progressive one it needs to be said. More than dozen spectators , at least half of that ladies , some with their boy , some with girl and at least 2 alone. None seemed shy at all when boys were trying to present their assets up close.
Tae  almost immediately came to claim his tip and asked for drink but I skipped drink part. Tawan heritage shows there as buys are equally pushy asking for drinks and tips. This time  I hole my line or rather pocket but  gave tip to quite attractive twink , new there , at least for me. Vey cute.
At midnight we walked over to Good Boys quite crowded but they found us a seats , soon YT and his guy joined us there,   I fast claimed  FuBoy from day 3 as with such crowd it was better to be decisive.  Spoon did not waste time either .
After watching a show for a while  we moved to World Famous Unesco acclaimed Foodland , each of us with boy. Sonn our 3 tables were not enough as 2 Banana boys , one of them veteran my few offs  came to reastaurant    and we wasted no time to invite them to join us. Quite jolly and boisterous affair that late Sunday supper. We had really good time and for good reason.  Tomorrow  spoon and YT are going home and I’m flying to Phnom Penh.
Then we went to our hotels, FuBoy did one of best deals on his life or at least of  the week as really most or our time together I was asleep but when I was not it was quite energetic and fun filled affair as usual with him.
At 6.30 he claimed to be hungry so we went for a breakfast as first clients of the day and then he went his way and I started packing        
 

I'm a twink lover  and Goodboys and Freshboys are the best for me. Sometimes Hotmale, but that seems less busy these days. Goodboys is a bit seedy, by which I mean small, crowded, a bit run down, a bit messy, etc. Freshboys is smarter. Banana can produce twinks, at least when I was there once.

Freshboy probably has the most hardcore show among the bars. But it doesn't happen until its 2nd show at 11:00pm. First show at 10:15pm serves as a warm-up. In between first show and second show, the guys line up on stage in sexy bikini briefs for about 5 minutes to entice customers to invite them down for drinks and offs.

Day 8  
 At one point of time after breakfast I decided to visit Train market in Mae Klong , where train is actually squeezing trough the market stalls on last 500 m of line. I was there few years ago with our former member z909 and liked an experience.
Unfortunate fast is that  to get there one needs to take  two trains  which are not really smoothly communicated.  I decided to take 1st train at 12.15 pm , risky option as there is only 20-25 minutes to get between train stations and that includes river crossing by ferry . But worst which may happen  if I don’t catch 2nd train is to return to Bangkok as trains on 1st line are hourly trough ought the day  while second link had only 4 trains  a day in each direction.
In short cheap thrill as all it costs is 40 baht in train fares and 6 baht in ferry tickets.
Trains  on first link to Maha Chai are departing from non descript , easily to miss unless train is already in the station , Wongwian Yai station , about 1 km walk from BTS station of the same name.
 Train was already in the station but there was some commotion as on platform  .  paramedics were energetically trying to revive guy laying on the ground. Looked as heart attack and it did not look good unfortunately.
It take 55 minutes and 10 baht to get to Maha Chai . From there I walked energetically  to the ferry   (3 baht), luckily it departed almost immediately . On other side of the river another 800 meters or  so to Ban Laem station . Only because somebody showed me shortcut I made it at literally last seconds.
 I made it only because I know the way , otherwise I’d suggest to take earlier , 10.40 am train and kill time  at Maha Chai.
From there is another 1 hr. and 10 baht to get to end of line. It’s actually big fun to be on the train and watching all those tourists excited they can actually touch moving train. Right after market train crosses the street and terminal station is right there. I had an hour to explore the are and market itself and at 3.30 whole fun starts again.
Actually as train was moving toward Ban Laem my fun diminished by the minute. Lunch I treated myself to at one of market restaurants did not do much good to me . Somehow I made it to station at Maha Chai where public conveniences provided me with an access to the sea and disaster was terminated before it got worse.
It was certainly nice to get back to my room at Raya.
 Few hours of rest and at 9p.m. I marched (floridarob , pay attention)    to Central Park Mall where spoon , his friend YT, Jason and his boy were munching supper already so I joined them. Then we decided on next stop being Dreamboys  - my 3rd visit there this trip , rare occurrence.
 Selection on the stage today was  better than previous 2 visits. What I noticed there was quite tall twink , never seen before who clearly was paying attention to my presence with smiles and gestures.
 I’m not in skinny twink hunting territory  but when show started and he positioned himself in audience in place  where he could continue his adoration  having clear sight of me I said to myself that my heart is not made from stone and called him over for drink.  It did not take long to seal LT deal for tonight and soon after. Soon whole pack  with their respective companion moved to Foodland  for a supper together and then we dispersed to our hotels. In the room boy, lets call him DM did good job proving he was right choice . so right that in the morning I upped his agreed tip and even suggested he can come at 6 pm for more  but he had some other  arrangements and declined.

Day 7
Somehow I found myself busy and went to bed at 2 am , only to rise at 7. Since Baan Silom does not have breakfast facilities  I went for breakfast to Foodland , 1st time this trip breakfasting there. Of course  I got 84 baht before 9 a.m. deal, not that it makes any difference since I always give them 100 baht and tell them to keep the change.
 At noon moved back to Raya. Low season so room was available already   and I got one at end of corridor , quite oddly shaped but featuring not one but two windows. Since room was on 5th floor where reception is I immediately went down to see if old , privacy preserving trick still works. It did.
 What it is  one may ask. At Raya your card works only for the floor your room is located at. So if your room is  on 7th floor  you can’t  take an elevator to floor 6 or 4. Only exception is floor 5 where reception is and floor 4 where breakfast room is. That’s the privacy trick to avoid reception and possible embarrassment for our boy . Take elevator to floor 4 and take stairs to floor 5. So much for being gentleman.
Then off to Jey Spa where I had and appointment with Ball.  I was witness to some commotion. Some young guy was trying to enter lobby and was prevented from doing so by employes there. All was relatively quiet, no screaming but it looked serious. Soon after Ball showed up , he seemed to remember me or at least pretended to and he told me the story. Storming guy was ex-boyfriend of one of their boys . He confirmed it may be serious  with possible police being called   and for that reason apologized that he must stay fully dressed . Thanks God  he did not ask me to  do the same .
Session was very pleasant nevertheless. But since he was pretty enthusiastic I suggested he will visit me in Raya . When ? right away. So after massage  I walked to BTS , he was supposed to take Grab. I beat him to Raya by good 10 minutes. 
Great repeat , this time without dress code , ahem . as a bonus he speaks good English so we could have some meaningful talk. He did not watch the watch so we were together more than normal massage session would last. Excellent treat although not exactly the cheapest, he knows his value is seems. I promised to try to see him again this trip ( and kept my word  as we learn in due course ).
After he left I rushed to G’s in soi 4 where we had dinner planned with Jason 1975 who just arrived in Bangkok but already managed to bring his guy with him.  There was also  spoon and his friend YT . as usual with late dinner  question was raised what’s next  and we accepted YT’s proposal to go to Jupiter. Not very crowded and only 12 models doing walkabout, still more guy than patrons . closer to start of the show few more patrons arrived but it was clear that off  must be thin on the ground  with number of boys equaling if not higher than  patrons. And this was universal case in all bars I visited this trip.
 Benefit was quite good seats we were awarded, in front of the stage. At one point YT asked mamasan  if one  of their boys  sitting nearby goes with guys. Warranted question as apparently some of their guys are going with girls only , God bless them. Mamasan misunderstood likely and brought guy over to us. It was moment of embarrassment as other guys had already companions lined up for tonight but, always gentleman I came  to the rescue , inviting guy to seat beside me.
  Lets call him CJB. Immediately warmed up  upon hearing he is Cambodian as recently I have soft spot for those guys. Drink yes, going with me , yes. But after the show , again yes. I sensed it will work well in the room and indeed it did . another boy today with good English. Very pleasant and amendable  so at one point I suggested he stays till breakfast as it’s dark and dangerous outside. Accepted immediately although did not budge on the price.
I’m glad I yielded as upon extension  he seemed even more enthusiastic. Best night so far even if some money was wasted because of course I fell asleep. Day 7 and I still feel time difference , sigh.

Closed venue but everyone knows there's a disco there. People go there or h.i.m. disco to continue partying after DJ Station closes.

I was told by expat living in BKK that the Banana owner’s husband is very senior police officer so opening restrictions don’t apply.  That’s why the separate big upstairs bar is often still open well after other bars have closed.  Sometimes door is closed but party goes on and there will be someone standing by door who will let you in to the staircase.

few pictures from the trip we took today

Day 6     
At 8.30 call from spoon , in 30 minutes car taking us to Mirror Temple ( hope spoon will chip in with proper name  ) near Chachoengsao will be at my hotel to pick me up. Never heard about that temple before so was pretty exciting when spoon and YT invited me to join them on their trip there.
Drive took about 1 hr. , then to reach place we took ferry across the river and we were right there. Impressive indeed and because today is Buddhist holiday  , crowded with pilgrims. Definitely worth getting there. Temple itself has two floors , upper one is all silver , lower one , all gold . I will place  some pictures in a separate post.  After spending  few hours there  we went to another place several kilometers away  with gigantic reclining Ganesha .
Both places very interesting and not that far from Bangkok. Thank you my friends for taking me there !!!
 In the afternoon we were back in Bangkok, first steps to Foodland for my soup , then to ATM to withdraw some money. Withdrawal fee is 250 baht now. On my way back through soi 5 I treated myself with banana pancake. In hotel   I felt sleepy so went to bed and slept soundly till 8.30 pm .
It was raining when I woke up  but it eased up a bit so I went to see entertainment zone. Midnight bar , Moonlight and Bana club were opened but all other bars  were closed. Even Patpong night market was pretty deserted.. While  passing by Chaichana massage I saw very interesting specimen  sitting outside but in bout of idiocy I decided to  return to hotel empty handed. No doubt lingering effect of jet lag  , even 6 days after arrival.
 

Day 5
I slept till 8 . Breakfast in style as spoon invited me to his hotel. In the afternoon we both  went to check on art market near Saranrom park in Grand Palace area. Nothing spectacular but still interesting.  Then long walk along Charoen Krung to Wat Mongkon MRT station.  Then  back to his hotel to  partake in happy hour in lounge there .Memorable visit for 2 reasons  - one of waiters was super friendly and handsome and they had  normal bread  , like I’m used to eat at home  so treated myself with 2 slices with cheese – that makes it double treat.
Gulping no less than 4 cocktails , two of them double strength made that afternoon even more memorable.
Not sure who came first with idea but since he had other plans for tonight and his favorite Jupiter guy JW  had day off today he contacted hm asking if he would be keen on accompany me tonight .
We met before and JW even claimed he remembers me so fast we sealed the deal.
At 9pm  five of us  - spoon , his boy , YT , his newly arrived friend, kiwi306 and me dined at G’s in soi 4 and then we decided to check in Banana Club across the soi. Today and tomorrow due to religious holiday  most bars are closed  but somehow  they remain opened. It was well patronized for that reason. At one point , whole  in smiles,  JW  joined us , squeezing in  beside me.
 Around midnight we all went our ways, JW and me to my hotel . ewe had some talk  over the beer and then retired to the bed . Today JW was perfect companion , even much better than last time and I had fabulous time with him, worth every minute and every penny.
 

Day 4
 When I tried to book Raya  for more days  Agoda showed  no rooms available. So I book next three night at Baan Silom.  Now I know why . Today they are changing transformer so hotel  will not have electricity from 10 am  till who know when later  during the day. So  before 10 I packed and  walked to soi 3. Room was not available  and they asked me to return in 2 hours so I left luggage on reception  and go about the city . I visited Central Rama IX  , walked Sukhumvit from Asok to Nana, dropped at MBK, exchanged money at Xone (recurring theme, exchanging money , lol ) and finished at Foodland with my staple chicken rice soup. Jet lag started showing up a so as soon as I returned to the hotel  I collapsed on the bed. That jet lag is purgatory for me indeed , Not surprising considering time difference and length of flight but that is no consolation. What is surprising , regularly is much more severe  when in Thailand and much milder when I return home . It must be comfort of my own bed or what ?
Again today at 21.30 meeting with kiwi306 and  spoon at Midnight bar. Out of my two favorite guys only  P was present  but  Lao boy was not. Saved me pleasure and expense of buying him drink  - that’s bright side. Lao showed later but with somebody already  so obviously he was occupied. I treated P with drink  and then our forum trio went to Dreamboys . Tons of boys on the stage but surprisingly  not too many  to my liking. Spotted one guy I observe on Grindr  - unfortunately in the flesh he is much more skinny  than I imagined n based on pictures there.
Next station – Freshboys . Bar quite full inside with show already on. One of guys seemed to recognize me from January  because smiled broadly even if all we did together then was  distributing and collecting a modest 200 tip.  So I decided to invite him for a drink and subsequently  to off him.
Spoon collected his guy from  Goodboys and we went to Foodland to eat something. Soon two reader and Andy303UK  appeared , my first time I met Andy.
After  meal we parted ways and I walked with my boy to soi 3 . He mused that wants go home soon , preempting my question about Long Time. I did not expect that soon  though. In the room jumped into bed declining shower and brushing the teeth. That’s very rare although it needs to be said I didn’t detect any odors. Right after the deed jumped into shower and before I managed to towel myself he was already dressed . had nerve to ask to extra 500 and taxi money  but I used word NO decisively. So he left. It was kind of disaster  but it needs to be said it was only bad encounter this , otherwise fabulous trip, Clearly money wasted , on drink, off fee , meal and tip . Oh well, shit happens thought I going to sleep.          
 

Day 3
Breakfast at 8 a.m. . then I had urge to do some touristy stuff so took the boat to Grand Palace area to explore markets there.. Nothing interesting so again  pockets on return not exactly empty. Returned to Saphan Taksin by the boat as well then walked to soi 49  hoping for change of status of Madrid Café but no. definitely looks it’s closed for good.
Then to Foodland as I was  supposed to have lunch there with reader. In the morning I was thinking about sending message to Kiwi306 as I suspected  he may still be in Thailand. When we finished lunch and headed for the exit  who , whole in smiles is seating at the last table ? Kiwi306 himself. Very nice, unexpected  reunion, we had a chat and agreed to meet in the  evening afternoon.
Then rain started so I parked myself in hotel, waiting for FuBoy from evening one to arrive for  short time stamp collecting seminar. Really funny guy with no boring minute while with him.  He is pressing me for long time  and for sure we will have one but I decided to take things slowly with him.
Rain stopped when he left  and at 21.30 I walked to Midnight bar for a meetup with spoon and kiwi306. None of m favorite waiter was there   , Lao guy showed bit later but was already reserved for tonight by guy he walked in with.
We decided on Moonlight for tonight.  It was quite crowded , rare feast there recently , at least dozen of models including long time not see Khun, certainly back in shape, perhaps even in the best shape of them all. Babe  was absent. There was dearth of floor boys , just 5 only  but as I say all I need is one bar and one boy . In this case  Y, not seen there for a while . We both recognized each other immediately so I invited him for a drink and placing him between spoon and me as spoon knows him as well.
Of course LT time deal sealed  immediately , this time no excuses he needs to go at 3 am like last few  times . But before we retired to hotel all of us went to Happy Beer Garden enthusiastically welcomed by Joy , the waitress.
Time in the room was like old good days, Y is definitely a gem of the boy and I made sure he was properly  compensated for his efforts.
 

Day 2
After he left at 5 I thought I will sleep a bit but no , my sleep pattern was ruined by the jet lag. So as soon as they opened breakfast room at Raya at 6 I was there.
 At 11 am. I visited spoon in his hotel to catch up with news as we did not see each other for good 2 years. Upon learning his friend YT is coming from Malaysia tomorrow I asked to ask him to bring me pack of excellent Malaysian lose leaf tea BOH. It was quite a long walk back to my hotel , I went to XONE to exchange some money and around 4 pm exhausted by jet lag, long walk and heat I collapsed on the bed . Slept soundly till 20.30.
 After making myself handsome again I went to Midnight bar, P the waiter was not there  but I have also another object of adoration , their new Lao host . ( to be exact he was new in January) . Since boy is super skinny one may wonder what’s going on but I like his face. Bought him a drink  and soon Spoon arrived . We decided to try Tawan today. Not exactly crowded but not empty either .  Plenty of boys outnumbering patrons 2 to 1. Many veterans including once very famous Mekhin.
Looking at  boys on display old saying came to my mind  ‘ one can chase boy from bar but can’t chase bar from boy” there were at least 3 new , very attractive guys , including one quite heavily tattooed and another one who was top in , you guessed rightly,  ‘special ‘show. Unfortunately  typical Tawan disease of palms outstretched and asking for tip on every turn killed my mood quite a bit even if I liked all 3 new guys a lot. I don’t mind tipping  but rather do it on my own will , not because I’m nagged for it.  My parting 100 baht for best looking guy got that  heavily tattooed and  it was met with applause so I suspect  he may be very new there.  It was fun even if bit upsetting one. 
 At midnight we went to Dreamboys  but since bar was to close in less then 1 hr many boys were already taken but evens from those left on the stage I’d pick up few. But I did not as I had hopes about that Lao host. Unfortunately he was already sitting with somebody so I went  to Foodland  for my 62 baht soup , then  made walk through the area, even passed by Moonlight but two mamasans sitting outside told me they are already closing – come tomorrow. So I returned home empty handed but looking at bright side – pockets not exactly empty.
 

Day 1
 I had even enough time to exchange some money  in train station exchange booths. What I noticed there are few more of them and very important  - Kasikorn Bank booth to the right as we enter station area which so far had the same rates like rest of kiosks in the airport, now  has the same  rates like station exchanges.  On the train I announced my arrival to  spoon and former member “reader”. Spoon told me he is heading for Good Boys and will wait for me there. Soon after he send me a picture of him sitting  with one of their boys known to me  - one who once arrived on motorbike to my hotel but on departure still asked for taxi money. You may recall the story . Lets call him  FuBoy , short for funny boy. Promised to wait for me.
 When walking through Thaniya on that steamy  night I noticed dearth of tourists.
 Raya upgraded me  to bit more spacious room, I showered, shave and at about 12,30 am marched to Good Boys. Reader , upon learning I’m heading to GoodBoys, recommended me one of their boys , knowing I’m looking for muscles.  Bar was full when I entered with show going on
 Joyful reunion in the bar , with both spoon and FuBoy     and when I told him about readers recommendation , spoon  told me  “ boy is standing right in front of you “. Indeed he was so making him seat beside and ordering him drink was easy and instant. Lets call him GMB (Goodboys Muscle Guy) . he agreed to an off immediately. Hey  even with bar full there were more boys than patrons, clingy and kissy , excellent introduction to my trip. Soon all 4 of us went to Foodland to eat something and then parted ways with spoon and his boy. He impressed me  indeed. At one point of night    he went to bathroom , I heard bum gun running and then he went to shower  to clean himself even better, That earned him 500 extra tip on dismissal.

"they think just sticking it in and act like a jackhammer is being a good top 🙄" , Flori.  truer words were never spoken.  I frequently have this problem, especially with the guys in Brazil.  Now during the initial conversation I mention that I do not like "jackhammer sex".    If and when they start the drilling, I quickly remind them to slow down and take things easy.  I have no intentions of paying for something that I can not enjoy.  The guys who listen and comply have a repeat customer, me, and I have a wonderful experience.
