One thing i noticed is after reading the Brazil posts here, is that everyone got a room in the sauna after they agreed on a garoto. My question here is, can I not just take room keys in the beginning and then search for garoto? Atleast thats what I did in Thermas Barcelona. I would get the locker & room keys at the same time.

How long are the sessions in Lagoa, 117 and 202? Like for example in Thermas BCN its usually 30 mins.

Are wait times for rooms at 117 really bad or does it only depend on the day?

Can anyone please guide me what are the best time and days to go to Lagoa, 117 & 202? From my research on this forum, Tuesday seems very busy for 117. Wednesday is slow for 202. Sat and Sun are good days for lagoa. But I would love to have updated info?

However I have some specific questions that I would like to ask 🙂 I still haven't booked tickets yet. 1. Everyone says to carry a cheap alternative phone, which one y'all recommend especially for uber? 2. Are there any food delivery apps? 3. Where do you exchange money at the airport? I see people talk about ATM but are there any currency exchange options at the airport (Sao Paulo or Rio)? 4. As this will be my first time, I would like to see at least the touristy spots, do you think an Airbnb Experience will be a safe option? 5. Is there a place to purchase a sim card with data at the airport (Sao Paulo or Rio)? 6. For GP saunas, is it the same as Barcelona Thermas, where you go back to your locker after the session to grab the cash and meet the guy and hand him the cash or is there a different method followed in brazil? I have trip planned but I am confused on their travel restriction. I can do a PCR test. But as far as vaccination is concern I have had my 'booster shot' in November 2021. Their website says: Vaccines are valid from 14 days after the last dose up to 270 days. If more than 270 days (9 months) have passed since receiving the last required dose of their COVID-19 vaccine, U.S. citizens must show proof of having received a booster shot. The booster shot certificate is valid since the day it was administered. I don't understand the last part. My booster shot is past 270 days but are they only talking about the 270 days for the second dose of the vaccine?

I was able to find a flight where an American Airlines airplane takes you to Madrid and then from Madrid it's Iberia Plane that takes you to Barcelona, also the same coming back. So the flight from Madrid to Barcelona and vice versa shouldn't be too bad because it is a short flight. My only confusion is that, will the custom immigration thingy happen in Madrid and then I go to a different terminal because technically the second flight is a domestic flight?

So going on weekdays will have less garotos?

Has anyone a flown with 'Iberia airlines'. If yes, how is it? I'm planning a trip to Barcelona. I have 2 options either to go with Iberia have a stop over in Madrid or I go through Air France and will stop over in Paris My concern is that if the Air France flight gets delayed I'll lose my connection but if I take Iberia even if flight is late or anything I'll at least be in Spain (Madrid). (Departure is from Dallas, TX)
